TSO Livestream
9While holiday performances are likely not happening Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced they’ll be doing a live stream concert on 12/18/2020 for $30 which is affordable considering I’ve seen their tickets going for close to $200 for a good seat.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to see them live but the tickets were too expensive this is a great option.
Tickets and other TSO goodies can be found here:

If you have some other holiday concerts being live streamed and such share them below so other people can get in on it as well.

I always hit the TSO show whenever it comes to town, and on a couple of occasions I have even traveled a few hundred miles in years when it was bypassing my city. Highly recommended even if it doesn’t look that appealing to you based on video. You can’t really appreciate the spectacle of the live show until you have seen it in person.
For that reason, I am not sure if I will be doing the streaming event. If I could convince the family into watching it together, it could really sway my decision.
That could be the thing. Snag some popcorn, hot chocolate etc and show it on the biggest screen you’ve got.
@DrWorm Buy a wireless projector with a big screen, stream it, and make it a party.
So so so good in person. Even though the show is almost exactly the same each time, it’s always so fun to see.
@DJ Yeah two years ago I had the chance to see TSO, Brian Setzer or this other sort of New Age orchestra that has one song on the radio. I chose poorly. So I’ll be using this to set things right.
I’ve seen TSO twice & put both performances in the top 10 of the over 200 concerts I’ve attended. I will definitely be watching this PPV as well. Hopefully Jeff Scott Soto will be part of the crew!!
@tohar1 Soto is still definitely with TSO, but they have traditionally had two simultaneous touring groups, and I don’t know how they will handle that for the streaming event.
@DrWorm Yeah, that was what I was wondering about…East Coast vs. West Coast touring companies. We here in the middle of the country have gotten the West Coast company, and Mr. Soto was with both times. Such a talent! It’s easy for me to say, “I’m a bobo for Soto!”
I would certainly consider this, but unfortunately I will be working in the ER that day (at that time). Of course, the good news is that means I am off the following Friday for Christmas!
@chienfou Maybe there is a way for someone to record it for you?
@Targaryen
I will have to check out if there will be an option to watch it “non-live”/on demand at a later time. Maybe we can do that Christmas week when SWMBO and I visit our son in Boston…
I hate to say it, but this was one of the most boring concerts I’ve ever seen. For years, many friends have raved about TSO & I know about the impressive light/laser show, but we always passed on going. Well last year I won 2 free tickets… great we thought, we can finally check them out. We were ready to leave after only a few songs! We only stuck around till the end to meet back up with some friends who were there. Obviously there are impressive visuals & very talented musicians, but it was just not for us.
@DemonMF777 That sucks. I saw Brian Setzer during the holidays. Maybe give that a shot.
@Targaryen Funny you mention that… 3 years ago I won front row tickets to see the Brian Setzer Christmas show at the Hard Rock in Orlando & it was awesome! Too bad he doesn’t tour more often or come down to S. Florida.
POPSOCKETS! SPROCKETS! DAVY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
