I have one on the bookcase in my bedroom, another in the living room, and the third (and unused fourth) in my workshop. All but the 4th one are all being used for audio books and general music. The 4th one was on my desk at work but since I retired, it retired.
One is in the kitchen with an old, old phone loaded with music, the other is in my sewing room with an old phone loaded with music apps. I had the little bluetooth adapter hooked to one but I’m not patient enough to wait for it to decide if it wants to connect with my computer or not.
Others ended up getting warranty RMA’d to JBL… I ended up with another set of PC speakers (my one I bought from meh one speaker died a week after the warranty…). also ended up with one of the waterproof bluetooth speaker things… They didn’t want to do it. I told them what I wanted… another speaker dock… They said this is as close as they sell… Sweet!
On 11/07/2018 I bought the Mokcao speaker dock for 2nd gen Echo Dot. This is the only dock I ever purchased. By the end of May, 2019, six short months later, it was deader than disco.
Got a Bluetooth SoundBot that sat in a box for 4 years then finally made its way to the bathroom counter. It can only pair with one of two phones, and the battery sucks, but there it sits being used… occasionally?
In October 2017 I bought QUIRKY OHM QI CHARGER. It’s presently charging my phone next to me and the speaker also works wonderfully. One of my least-regretful Meh buys.
I think it is on a shelf in my pantry.
i never bought a speaker dock, and i feel like i’m a better human because of it.
Does an Echo dock count? Mine’s in the garage where it’s supposed to be.

My JBL is still kicking…

Some of mine are on their way to Amazon, I’m getting more than I paid for them back as a credit and coupon toward Alexa devices

@f00l no it’s a Blue Mini somethingorother, it’s pretty crappy.
Only bought the echo dock…it’s in the living room getting used every day. If anyone has an extra they want to sell let me know!
My iLuv Aud Air plays bluegrass train music inside the railroad museum where I work!

The first and last speaker dock for me.

@themutilator Yep. Me too. I bought one, then went back for 2 more on the next sale.
