This makes me smile
16Glad to see that this printed. I have to wonder how many were thrilled that this made it to the top three and how many over there are furious. Now, if only I could stand to have another poorly fitting red shirt...

You beat me to it! :)
Haha Sorry.
I noticed they are deleting any posts that link to here. So, I guess there are those who are not happy about it.
It was a close race between 2nd and 3rd and two others very close to third. It was good of them to not fudge the end results
I agree. They could have gotten away with it pretty easily. I noticed last night there was less than 20 votes between #2 & #10.
And....they deleted my comment telling people not to post links. They have seriously lost it.
That is crazy
I got put on probation for 30 hours for supporting Meh....
I have never been more excited to see a design print, on Woot. I will buy this in almost any way they are willing to print it.
I'm glad it printed, too. I don't think I'm going to buy it, though. I'm pretty annoyed at their heavy-handedness right now.
That made me laugh. I have such bad luck trying to figure out shirts bought on teh Intarwebz0rz.
I have this issue. I'm tall, and slim. Woot's shirts seem to be made for short, plump people. Baggy belly shirts aren't my thing, sadly
I like the official meh shirt better. This one seems too flashy to me.
I'm sure Meh.com doesn't mind "You know HOOT" plugging them.
Well I'm buying one. Can't resist the irony.
That's irony, right? I never know.
which prompted me to look at my account history, when i realized i never got the last thing i ordered from them.
@katylava Their customer service is a mess. A rug I ordered a week-ish ago showed up but tracking still shows "shipping now" w/o tracking #
I grabbed one too. Gotta show company loyalty.
Has @snapster bought one yet? Better yet, post in the thread!
I found out this site 2 days ago during the Woot Bday celebration. As others have noted, the post that led me here was swiftly deleted, as were many on the Meh shirt's comments.
Been here for 2 days and love it. I see many familiar names too. There was a post here a couple of days ago where people were speculating if Meh would print, and when I saw that it indeed did, I jumped on it.
Anyway, I'm glad this is here, I've something to look forward to at midnight again!
PS. Can't believe I missed the Kickstarter. I'm on there almost daily. I got caught up with the Reading Rainbow campaign.
Just remember , 3rd is not 2nd and 2nd is the 1st loser
Glad to see the original back!!
Hey all, TT here. I'm not speaking officially, just from my heart. The opinions expressed are my own.
First, I want you to know that I think highly of @snapster. He created a new business model that has been copied around the world. He also gave me my job in the wonderful world of forum moderating. (Thank you, Matt!)
I think he would be the first to say that there's room for both woot & meh in the online retail world. He's exploring business concepts, something at which he excels. It seems that only competition between us is the one you, the community, are creating.
If you want to follow in Matt's footsteps, follow his actions. He definitely doesn't need you advertising for him on one site. He has a marketing plan in place and is getting the word out just fine.
So, let's all shake hands, group hug, and get along.
The shirt today on shirt.woot? Hilarious timing. Talk about that. Have fun with it.
Well said @thumperchick
It's hard not to see hypocrisy in deleting Meh links while links to other deal sites (i.e. Tanga) stay up. Meh was (briefly) banned outright
The deals.woot problem was fixed as soon as we were awake and in the office to see it.
@ignorant - ಠ_ಠ
Hi @Del! Nice to see you over here :)
Hugggggg.
I'm a vol mod at woot and they never said anything to us. Actually they may not know we exist. Which is fine with us!
I understand completely. The only posts that I had, that were deleted, were posts warning people NOT to post links (didn't even mention meh)
@thumperchick sorry had to do it.
@Del - Remember, heavy-handed "moderation" is one of the big things that makes the new Woot worse than the old Woot we all loved. You may be okay with it but don't expect us all to be. You can delete links until your keyboard breaks if you like, but ultimately people don't like to spend big bucks where they feel censored and oppressed.
@del While I agree that @snapster has taken the high road (he's a saint like that) and that we should all follow in his footsteps, we're not him.
I have no problems with you personally. You've always seemed to be fair, and do mostly what the Emperor demands. Honestly, up until recently, I didn't even have an issue with Woot. However, the continued desire to do whatever they feel like over at Woot, despite it being unjustified and unexplained, is what's driving a wedge between their customers and themselves.
The entire thing started when any comments or questions regarding Mediocre were being deleted blindly. The suggestion that we "have friends starting a new business" was ground for deletion. Woot chose to not allow Mediocre on the forums. As fans of Snapster, we then had to choose between continuing supporting Woot.com, who denies the fair opportunity for his site to be promoted or even mentioned on their sites (even though other sites are), and supporting Mediocre (and now Meh). We've always been a rowdy bunch. I am sure I don't have to remind you of that. We don't go quietly, and never without a fight. We did what we do best -- we bucked. Honestly, had Woot let it go, it would have dried up and been the end of it. Woot chose to make anyone supporting @snapster into a martyr. It fed the fire.
So tell me, Mrs. Olive Branch. Why was the mention of Mediocre, or Meh, or Snapster ground for comments or questions being deleted? How did you expect your fans -- his fans -- would react?
Exactly, I think this is very well put. Pissing customers off just isn't good business.
I never felt that snapster needed anyone defending him on woot. The best way to support his idea was to go to his site, and back it on ks.
It must be nice to know that @snapster has loyal minions if he ever needs them, though.
Speaking of, does anyone know if Meh plans on doing the shirt a day thing? (Using AA blanks of course)
Hey everyone. I'm the designer behind today's Woot shirt, Not-So Action packed. It was never my intention to design a shirt that poked fun at Woot or Matt. When Woot announced the text derby, I thought illustrating "Meh" in a vintage comic book style would connect with the shirt.woot crowd. Turns it out it did. Anyway, I appreciate the additional conversation about the design here and elsewhere.
I wish Matt and the meh.com team the best in everything they do.
Nice design. I don't believe it had any drama here but I haven't read elsewhere. Good timing for a meh shirt; I'm glad people voted for it!
