I’ve lived in my city for less than a year (but more than six months) and still don’t have any actual friends here. I work second/third shift, though. So even if I were to find a Meh Meetup and excitedly join, I’d only be able to contemplate it at my office desk, forlorn, as the other members enjoy their 7pm get-togethers of Mehness.
@Cakestripe all I know is, I am trying not to eat sugar and your screen name is not very nice! Mmm I want a big piece of cake with reallllly thick frosting all over it…
@narfcake I pretty much only post on meh threads that have less than 20 comments. Once it gets too “crowded” in a thread, I skedaddle.
Does that count as antisocial? Or at least claustrophobic?
@UncleVinny That’s almost a hipster-ish vibe there. Like listening to bands that don’t exist yet.
@UncleVinny 20 comments is barely getting started in some threads.
@narfcake @UncleVinny Well, I will say hi to you before you skeedaddle from this one.

@narfcake @tnhillbillygal this thread has been real quiet-like. I feel all cozy in it.
