8June is for the birds and July is right around the corner, so it’s time you folks figure out where we go from here because @walterbird is about to fly the coop if you know what I mean.
Also, we don’t normally post these but you’re cutting it close this month on time to vote. We’ve always left this post up to the mehtizens because this is really just your thing. You’ve managed to keep it going this long with us stepping in only to announce your election results and sticky posts for you. Who you pick and how it all works is still in your hands, so if anyone wants to see any changes or solidify any rules beyond “the elected is to blame for everything,” you’ll need to step up and get that sorted out yourselves. Just sayin’.

@Kyeh Well since June GOAT was a bird, I suppose we can do another animal for July. The pig (ham) being the animal. I’ve been on Meh since almost the beginning and never cared to be the GOAT, but given that I recently retired (super long term sabbatical), I suppose I have time to take the blame for everything that goes wrong at Meh.

I just heard a guy on TV say “The joy of being retired - you can do stupid stuff like this!”
The world didn’t come to an end and no one died so a non human becoming GOAT did not have the disastrous effects some predicted. I say we continue the trend and nominate Charlie for GOAT. Can’t do any worse than I did or fuck up anything any worse than humans have done this year already.
@Walterbird If they weren’t AWOL, I’d say that IRK or Glen were even more eligible, assuming we could have “persuaded” them to join us here on the forum, but that opportunity seems to have passed.
I will not nominate any of the cats who live with me. Their comments tend to include hairballs.
@Walterbird Charlie’s not eligible because he doesn’t have a Meh account the way you do.
@Kyeh @Walterbird I would have to talk to him about it. He goes a little crazy with the credit card if I dont watch him closely. Just got a giant Chewy box worth about $120 the other day. Darn dog!!

@Kyeh @tinamarie1974 That really pissed me off as he ordered something he didn’t even need. We don’t have a pool in our new house and the closest Walter goes into going water is when he went in his water dish for a bath (he hasn’t had a water dish in his cage for the last 9 months-he gets all his liquid from ripe cataloupes, honey dews, and/or strawberries).

Don’t all volunteer at once for this thankless job. Looks like they are going to have to pay someone this month to take it or at least shove it up their you know where.
