You have to appreciate the impact it made on cinematography at the time. It was a huge leap in camera work that is common enough now to be boring. The lobby scene, the spinning camera look when they attempted capturing Trinity, all of that was mind blowing at the time!
But sucky sequels didn’t help it’s long term image either…
I definitely remember having to do multivariate stats using this. This operation is fundamental for linear transformations and coordinate rotations in math. I definitely prefer computer programs even if I have to put in some code.

I liked the first one and am glad to say I don’t regret seeing any of the sequels. That’s probably because I never saw any of them.
