The GIF Fukos of ChadP
4So here’s the thing, the gif fuko was cute but damnit if I don’t want an actual 3D fuko with Meh left overs just once more. So here’s the question @ChadP has been handing out gif fukos like Oprah, like Texas hands out executions, like Trump makes dumb comments, like Clinton loses emails, like Bush 2 can’t find WMD’s, like Vanna White flips letters, like Nicholas Cage makes crap movies, like … well you get the point there have been a lot of gif fukos but will those gifs turn into real boys like Pinocchio or is ChadP the next purveyor of magical cure all ointment that seeks to confound us with hopes of a fuko? Thoughts?

Yes. Generally they do become real.
@PlacidPenguin I was equally biased against all political parties, though I could have thrown in some witty comments about the whigs or federalists. The two party system is broken John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and others knew that two parties alone would not work and said so. Plus why ignore politics, let’s agree to disagree but let’s have civil conversations to understand each other’s side instead of the name calling arguments currently taking place. Politics can be fun but name calling just makes everyone drop to the lowest level.
It should show up in your meh purchase history as a $0 fuko

@Ignorant this. I got the gif gift show up in my order history about a day later. I also got the “another” gif. That one hasn’t showed up in my order history yet but it may take longer to show up.
Over all this has probably been the easiest fuko to get in the history of fukos… So easy even I got one, my, first ever after years of trying, no more being stopped by the robot.
I am no longer a robot but a real mehisto.

Been worrying a bit over it the last couple of days but figured since I didn’t really do anything to deserve the Fuko (except explain why no one does), I really shouldn’t be hassling anyone about it.
I figure I should just trust in Chad, but it’s hard to be patient when you’ve got the promise of a box full of free stuff (even if it’s all but guaranteed to be meh).

I would trust in meh. Looks like there might be a backup and backlog of gifs to gifts. Mine was one of the earlier ones.
@DennisG2014 @Ignorant @OnionSoup @therealjrn i have recieved 2 staffer comments of fukos. Neither showed up in orders. I figure it might be a virtual compliment only and it might be real but either way good. Just sit back and be pleased and surprised if omething arrives.

edit 2: Hmm… apparently the giphy changes when you edit and save… at the first edit, the gif was an image of a toddler in a diaper doing a dirty dance, then it changed to a Simpson’s gif of a guy throwing up in his mouth a little. Now, if my Murphy’s Law luck holds, it’ll probably be something like what I was afraid of in the first place.

I received two in the selfie thread, but neither has shown up in my order history yet. I figured they were just taking a little longer to get them submitted. I know they’re busy, so I’ll be patient

@callow @capguncowboy That was specific to purchasing them. I don’t believe being gifted a fuko(s) applies here.

@OnionSoup I’ve seen that movie at least 500 times. Each of my kids obsessed over it for about a year (and not at the same time). It’s been a while, but I think I can still quote it to the letter.
My eyebrows weren’t as awesome as Huxley’s (sp?) but I like to think my level of evil was AT LEAST on par with his.

@evilstan60 @Stumpy91 there were a few different pictures/gifs used, but that was the most commonly used one as far as I could tell
@capguncowboy @Stumpy91 There was the thor throwing one down saying another one. This leads me to beleive there is an Xcel spreadsheet on ChadP’s computer where he would put usernames when handing out fukos. Trust in the spreadsheet. Those were the only two i saw.

The way i see it is either I get one or I don’t. The birthday stuff was fun. I was participating because I liked it. I think it’s cool that I got the GIF and if i really get a fuko out of it, then great. If I don’t, I still had fun last week.
That said, I’m pretty sure it will come eventually. We got spoiled by the really fast shipping of the fukos this time around. I’m just taking the advice in meh’s shipping page which is to just live my life and when the package gets here, it will be a great surprise.

@nolrak Yup. One is good (maybe) and one is just slightly disappointing. Either way, the worst thing that happens is I enjoyed the birthday festivities. That was basically the point.
I have not heard of anyone getting more than one free fuko. Correct me if I am wrong.
But honestly just getting one after missing out on trying to get the final fuko last monday made me very happy. Nothing sad if they don’t send one per each time it was mentioned. Just eagerly awaiting the package to actually ship that I have in my orders.
