@wew Why, what did you do besides click a button? (On my computer, clicking buttons doesn’t usually lead to anything very impressive, unless it’s a download with malware.)
I’m kind of tempted, actually. My hubby travels a lot for work, and when he’s gone, I rarely bother with bbq because my big ol’ Weber grill needs a lot of charcoal to work well. A teeny grill could be handy if I want to just cook one steak or something. I could just set it right inside the big grill, too. Hmm.
This is a deal, if you cook for 1. If you think "I can take a date to the lake, and grill for 2; you are sadly mistaken. That’s what I bought one for, but a smokey joe is huge compared to this grill. Buy 2 if you are going to cook for 2. Still less than a smokey joe.
@jonjen2
It would hold 4 small steaks - as recommended for one serving (3oz each, computer mouse sized).
So, four health conscious people could have their daily allowance of one serving of meat and a big salad. Hence the name I guess “four ate one”
I thought maybe the cooler bag could be useful in a pinch, but I have insulated shopping bags that are easily 4x the volume of this thing - 8.5" diameter by 6" high, about the size of half a “personal watermelon.” This is a great idea, but sized for munchkins. Nope, not even with VMP. Come on folks, let’s step our products game.
@mcobb13 probably 5. or 7. A single beer (using a 12-oz can) looks to be 3" diameter by ~5" tall. So you might get a six-pack in there. Maybe. Or one more, maybe, if you use bottles and stash them top-to-bottom. This thing is TINY. 2 “steaks” on the grill is also unlikely, even without half an ear of corn. Meh, I say. Meh.
@phendrick , do you really, really want one (or maybe 2) charcoal-grilled burgers in 25 minutes from finding a few charcoal briquettes, to having cooked burgers? Or come towards the light, it’s there for you… this has the concept right, but the dimensions are wrong for normal human-sized people.
IF YOU OFFERED 2 DOLLARS FOR A 1 DOLLAR BILL PEOPLE WOULD FIND A REASON TO BITCH AND MOAN THIS IS A FUCKING STEAL AT 10 BUCKS SHIPPED … SO PLEASE FIGURE OUT HOW TO USED THE COOLER WITH ICE IDIOT !!
This was $13 the last time it was offered on March 13, 2017.
@cengland0 This better cost 7 dollars on November 7th
My best loading time ever. I’ll never beat it. Atomic time 12:00:04. I’m very impressed with myself!
@wew Why, what did you do besides click a button? (On my computer, clicking buttons doesn’t usually lead to anything very impressive, unless it’s a download with malware.)
@phendrick the secret to my happiness is I’m easily impressed. Also, I’ve set the bar incredibly low!
I think all that food would fit in yesterday’s hot tool holster.
Worthy if you need a one-time use grill.

@Pony Good point… What do you think this holds, mehbe 4 briquettes? An 18 lb bag would last a couple of seasons!
@Pony
@juliethomson Ummm… what?

Perfect bowling ball case and comes with a free grill!
I thought these were weird earlier, and now I’m older and wiser and these things are even weirder. Meh.
This grill will be perfect if you get kicked out of your house on the 4th of July ( or go to the moon, apparently, also).
Actually, here in Texas, you could probably grill just as well on the sidewalk, most days.
OTH, the cooler bag looks like it might be worth the 10 bucks.
@phendrick Here’s a comparison price of $25 for the product

(no reviews there either)
I think the bbq music for this would be more along the lines of “We represent the lollipop guild…”
@mehcuda67 you mean the lollipop grill?

I demand to see the baby arm. Perfect opportunity for it to be roasting a… little weenie.
Tempting for a prepper but the cooking stove I got is actually a little bigger and can use multiple methods of heating/cooking materials.
The idea is that you put the dirty grill back in the bag?
@sourhead my first thought honestly.
This will be perfect when my wife throws me out and I have to live out of my car!
How many beers does the cooler hold?

Worst Meh ever. Fire your buyers.
@ponagathos Maybe not the worst meh. Having cooked on a $1100 grill today(not mine, that is crazy $$$), this looks pretty pathetic.
Sgt Friday from “Dragnet” would approve – GRILL them Meh!
This deal isn’t so hot.
That’s not a grill - it’s a toe warmer.
9 3/4 diameter? That’s not even big enough to roast an Irk.
Interesting definition of cooler. With the grill in bag there is not room for ice. Well, maybe a little if you want to a soot and ash smoothy.
So you get where you’re going, take out the grill, and then put the handfull of drinks back in the bag with no ice?!?!?
@bajoriap Take the grill out and use the cooler with ice , figure it out !!!

Was it worth the wait?
Looks nifty, but not confident about its functionality and/or durability.
Less heat products, more cool products.
@JT954 But isn’t it exactly that? It’s a two-fer -where it heats a hot dog (maybe two) and it cools your beverage(s) while cooking.
Anyone buying this back in March with any comments?
… help! Please help me invest my sawbuck wisely, or bring me to a rational mehntal state.

@cblloyd
/giphy Thanks, I needed that!
Those are CLEARLY Louisiana hot links. Duh.
Wonder if it would make a nifty little fire pit?
Well I’m grilling pretty good. Thanks for asking!
This girl (hehe) might be a good gift for a friend!

@mellowirishgent MELLOW? REALLY?
I think the posters didn’t see the extra layer-the compartment for the ice.
