@cengland0 There’s a new television show called Stranger Things. It’s about conversations between people who have never met and all the things they discuss. The poll is asking if you like the show because of the strangeness of the idea or the conversations themselves.
Didn’t care for it last series. Tried watching this series over the weekend, got half way through the second episode and fell asleep. I still don’t get all the hubbub.
As I understand it Winona Ryder is one of the cast members, which implies she’s still around, doin’ the actin’ thing, so, you know, that’s cool I guess.
The complete, fucking awesomeness of it. That’s the best part.
Is it strange that I don’t even understand the question?

I’ve never seen it but it sounds good.
@rprebel I know, right! The episode where the old Jewish lady and the skinhead were talking about Europe in the 1890s was suprisingly good.
@PocketBrain this sounds better than the actual show.
I’ll get around to it some day…
…maybe…

What? Is this like AHS?
Doesn’t seem very funny.
@2many2no not really… But if you like sci-fi and 80s nostalgia, try it out.
Bacon
@therealjrn You mean Eggos, right?
Not a clue. Do not care.
A product of the backside of middle age. ☺
@davido I’m not sure we want the product of a middle-age backside…
Tried it for four episodes. Kid storyline is OK, but adult bits are a slog, and the teens just made me want to punch someone. Not worth my time.
No TV. Can’t relate.

@nogoodwithnames I guess you could loosely refer to what she does in this series “acting”. At least this series she seems more present than last year.
Thank god I can’t watch it. .
The best part was waking up in your arms.
show is actually garbage but good music and cinematography
Does not end with a cliff hanger and… well, I won’t put a spoiler in here.
I’m allergic to Bildungsroman. What do you all think? Maybe? …
The sci fi, the 80s, the everything about it.
That hot demogorgon-on-human action
/giphy sexy demogorgon
Kind of YA fiction for my tastes, but my kids liked it. But then, I didn’t really see the big deal about the Harry Potter movies, either.
@macromeh
Try the books.
In the very early books, there are places where you can tell that b Rowing is not a novelist with years of publications.
And there are many, many places where she is brilliant.
As the series of books progresses, the brilliance aspects grow steadily larger, and the “newly published writer” stuff wafts into nothingness.
Haven’t seen it and probably won’t.
The music, duh!
Everything 80’s about it.
Probably that kid with the hat and poofy hair.

@medz Dustin is best kid.
@medz He grew teeth since last season.
