Serves more or less the same purpose as keystand ring holder, and is less invasive in your pocket, and less likely to “deploy” inadvertently in your pocket also.
@ELUNO I have one of these. I think I got it from Woot! It’s actually quite handy and more comfortable when you’re on a long call at home. And you don’t feel like you’re frying your brain from the RF waves from your cell phone or Bluetooth device, in case that proves to be an issue
One that is sold out in seconds…
I had to look up TV hat. And now I want one.
borescope. AKA inspection scope. Handy buggers.
@duodec yes they are!

@heartny if only it folded flat…
@RiotDemon It has a suction cup though, so you could actually take it on and off.
@Pantheist yeah but that means I need to put it in my pocket. I hate carrying junk, and I don’t carry a purse.
@RiotDemon That’s part of the reason I like zip-up hoodies. Extra comfortable pocket space.
@RiotDemon
I’m summer I wander around wearing a mesh shooters vest sometimes so that I have pockets.
Yeah I look like a dork.
@Pantheist I love hoodies, but it’s way too hot here except in winter.
@f00l my shorts have pockets, I just hate when they’re overflowing with stuff.
Shooters vest, interesting solution. I felt dorky wearing it while shooting, haha.
@f00l makes me think of this:
@RiotDemon ahh, forgot you live in the jungle.
@RiotDemon ever heard in pop sockets they collapse and you can make one with any picture you want on it too! www.popsocket.com
@RiotDemon
Shooters vest because mesh. So has pockets and can stand to wear in summer.
Camera vest or fishing vest might also do.
Anyone who does this will look like a total dork.
A phone fan. You plug it into your phone’s USB port to power it.
@Nuclearfuzzbomb I have one of those LOL
just paying over a thousand dollars for a phone and then putting an otter box case around it so it looks just like any $99 phone.
@bayportbob good idea! Then it will look cheap and be less likely to be stolen.
@bayportbob and less likely to need replaced prematurely, too, from accidental damage. Good thinking.
@bayportbob I’ve never owned a super-$200 phone, but I’d imagine people care about the thinky-thinky bits as well as the shell.
@bayportbob counter point
heres how fragile the iphone X is
screen repair starts at $270+
phone repair is over $500
suddenly a otterbox defender for only $45 at bezos happy fun house seems like a good deal

Car air vent mount
@SSteve yes. I use one of these often.
The magnetic mounts. Sure, my phone weighs six pounds now, but it magically sticks to my car without messing around with clamps.
Air vent mounts don’t work in my car; I got a mount that goes into the CD player (pretends it’s a disc).
Popsocket.

@matthew
If they’re promoting compatibility with Windows Phones, then they’re behind the times (no wordplay intended).
@mflassy But yet it appears play of words occurred.
@therealjrn
I blame @djslack.
@mflassy
/giphy goat play of words
@djslack
How about goats at play?
Unless they prefer to pay, in which case…
Um… a case? Or the telescoping cup-holder based phone holder for my car.
