Thanksgoating - Day 204. Go be human.
16This morning I had breakfast with a homeless man. Everyone has a story. He was walking up the street with a cane and I asked if we could share a meal at McDonalds. Turns out we’re both semi-colons. He’s been through some shit, but fighting back. Has three daughters, all grown. We chatted for 20 minutes or so. A good man on hard times. We all may have different opinions on everything, but being human is really fun. Go be human.
Thanks for having breakfast with me Johnny. Made my day.

@capnjb Good on you!
“semi-colon” – I never heard that before. My father had had a colostomy but never used that term or any other euphemism for it. (The reason I get regular colonoscopies.) He did occasionally refer to his new “rosy red” though.
… and some has been through him, but I’m not sure if it’s more or less than for “regular” people.
(probably it’s the same amount, just a little quicker?)
P.S. Good work seeing (and treating) people as human, regardless of where they are.
Also, “Go be human” is awesome. It made my day. (I also need to work on wanting to do that.)
KRULL! A SKULL! BRETT HULL! AWESOME!
@xobzoo
Heh… In my mind I just think of it as, ‘I’ve got a shorter runway’
Super happy I’m here to tell that bad joke
