The question is why? It just occurred to me that maybe the numbers are supposed to represent the 12 days of Christmas? It took me days to realize that might be a possibility. Are the birds supposed to be a clue to what the numbers mean or that the plates would have anything to with winter and its wonderland? Is the white supposed to represent snow? Am I alone is not getting all this right away? Wouldn’t be the first time something flew right over my head.
@ItalianScallion I instantly recognized that these are probably supposed to be for the 12 days of Christmas, but I still don’t know why you’d need plates to demark the days. Maybe they can be used like a reverse Advent calendar and hang a new one each day?

@die13lda@ItalianScallion there are 364 gifts. Because the song repeats you get 1 the first day, 3 the second day (2 + 1), 6 the third day (3+2+1), 10 the fourth day (4+3+2+1) and so fourth. On the 12th day you get 78 (12+11+10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1). Add all the days together and you get 364.
After thinking about this for a few more minutes, I can confidently say that I like this even less than I did 10-ish mins ago. Is hanging plates on a wall a thing? If so, I’m more uncool than I thought.

This is another data point to feed my theory that Meh sometimes buys mixed lots of things. Some of them are good, some of them are meh, and some of them are oh, these are so silly that no one wanted to buy them, but in mixed lots you have to take everything or nothing.
