@medz Will it play? Not only will it play, if you activate it with an in-app purchase it will dress your sandwich through voice activated mayo technology!
“Mayo, spread thick on top bun.”
“OK. You’re getting low on mayo. I can order you more Duke’s for $6.98 with free Prime shipping.”
Even before I saw the above Bluetooth Speaker with Eyes and Teeth, I knew today’s Meh face would be in my nightmares tonight. Thank you, I think, and goodnight.
@Kevfin and even then, it wouldn’t be worth it! (To either your wallet, or your gut, or your ears.) Seriously, we’ve passed “peak bluetooth speaker” territory, I figure we’re headed for implantables soon.
@cbl_wv well that shortcuts the whole water situation out of the equation. If we can just implant Bluetooth directly, we can dance without knowing it all the time!
@RedOak this is why I had to go back and qualify my statement with “that sounds better than an echo dot”. I thought back through some of the more questionable speakers I have had, mostly from the fine folks at Meh if I’m honest.
I suspect most of the MEH clientele is about knee deep in speakers, headphones, and earbuds by this time. They are piled on top of that layer of speaker docks.
Damn it I now have way more Bluetooth speakers than I do Bluetooth devices to connect to the speakers.Also sadly, I purchased 2 then see they are only rated at 10 watts. Wanted to use them on my deck. At least these won’t be so loud as to break my lease or disturb my neighbors.
( Nasally-jaded-reason ) I went ahead and pulled the trigger on two of these after reading the Amazon reviews, I needed something portable for outside that could handle a few raindrops. And besides a few people that didn’t like the voice commands on the speakers or one reviewer that had an issue with them staying charged up The rest of the review were’s gave them 4 or 5 stars so I’m in…
Got mine today. Been charging for 10 hours and red light still on (indicating battery not fully charged yet). Anyone else experience this? This speaker is getting promptly returned if I need to charge it 10+ hours every time!
@gtjay I was out of town so mine has been at the post office for two weeks. Finally picked it up today and can confirm it’s taking forever to charge. I had it plugged in for 4 hours and it still said low battery after I turned it on. Light is solid red charging the entire time.
According to the manual it should turn off when it’s done charging.
At 2200(?) mAh, the included 1.8A charger should have it good to go easily within 2 hours… I tried looking around my apartment for other 12v center positive power supplies, but haven’t had luck finding any that fit.
How has your experience been in the 10 days since your post here?
@daronspence at some point overnight it reached full charge. Ive used it a couple of times for a total of 2 - 4 hours and am very pleased with its performance, but i havent had to charge it again yet. We’ll see. As much as i like it, I’m not going to keep it if it takes 18 hours to charge every time!
Forgot to update, but for any that are curious, my pair of speakers work good. They paired for stereo bluetooth just fine. Pretty happy with them and they sound great.
I bought two, one works, one didn’t and ILUV is trying to send me a “serviced” replacement and making me PAY to return their defective product. If anything from this company ever goes on sales here, don’t buy it. OH, and MEH refused to provide any service either, so you might not want to buy anything they sell either.

@stinks FWIW, it’s going to be WHite. A lot of electronics MFRs product codes include WH or BK or BLK etc at the end as colour coding.

Thank you Meh for this nightmare material.
@Kerig3 mommy??
@hafner It actually kind of resembles a KKK hood, IMO.
@Kerig3 that got seriously shrunk in the drier
@Kerig3 This reminds me of that vampire from the Blade movies. The one with the faces that split.
@Targaryen I’ve never seen Blade.
Is this who you’re thinking?
@Kerig3 Yep, that’s the one.
@Kerig3 @Targaryen

Maybe if it were 2 for $20.
At $39.00 each, I’d have to eat Top Ramen and Mac & Cheese for an additional week next month.

@Kevfin WiFi or go home.
Isn’t “Improved Alexa Experience” a feature any Bluetooth speaker that sounds better than an echo dot can use as a selling point?
@djslack in fairness the 3rd gen Dot sounds better than some of the crappy Bluetooth speakers we have cluttering up our abandoned gadgets drawer.
@RedOak this is why I had to go back and qualify my statement with “that sounds better than an echo dot”. I thought back through some of the more questionable speakers I have had, mostly from the fine folks at Meh if I’m honest.
A speaker that looks like it is about to undress?
“And you bought…
1 of these.
There’s still some left.
That’s $41 total.
(including shipping)”
But the price is $39 and shipping is $5, so how do you get $41 if you sold 1? New math?
@Kyser_Soze vmp or member shipping plus sales tax. Probably dizavid.
@djslack Nah, I’d have heard the ‘FUCK!!’ from here.
Well, it’s a speaker but not a dock. Meh has graduated to Bluetooth speaker Friday. And I graduated to Bleh.
time to start selling Google assistant equipped speakers…
@fastharrydotcom
Please, no.
We’ve tested both over a period of over a year. We unplugged the Google Home Assistant device and went Alexa.
Is that a built-in cat food bowl?
I suspect most of the MEH clientele is about knee deep in speakers, headphones, and earbuds by this time. They are piled on top of that layer of speaker docks.
@Steve7654 I suspect most of the meh clientele is about to be knee deep in SyrenPro speakers after the next IRK.
This sale is proving to be a raging success…

How many watts are they and or are they loud
@astroglide Did you know that every sale has “Specs” listed? In this case:
@therealjrn no I did not thank you for your help
@astroglide They’re easy to skim over…kind of glide on by…so-to-speak.
@therealjrn Just slide right in the right link no pillow biting Involved
@therealjrn huh huh see what I did there lol

MR. FUSION!
Oh, its a speaker. That’s cool too.
Got mine in today. Haven’t tested them yet though.
@Bandrik I will order asap.
