Hi meh!

My girlfriend and I recently got into Survivor and it’s about the only thing we watch right now. Are any of you into the show, and do you have any seasons you’d recommend?

We’ve watched mostly newer seasons (40, most of the 30s and maybe half of the 20s) and we’re working our way to older ones too. It’s so good!

- @RiotDemon we started that one and the second season and yeah it was not the best… but the new seasons are great and way different from those lol. the show has developed a lot

- @brandom @Kidsandliz The final vote is, at least typically, revealed live several months after the season is shot, so you get a good indication. I haven’t really watched since season 3, but I remember being struck by the contrast at the end of the second season. I don’t think they starved the contestants that way ever again.

I saw the commercials and thought it looked more like a game show than a show about surviving.

- @yakkoTDI it’s got a lot of survival aspects like building shelter and living in the middle of nowhere, hunting for food, all the fun stuff. the social game show part makes it fun and interesting too!

- @macromeh I say give them all a big, hiking backpack, an army duffel bag and tell them they have to survive for 30 days off whatever they pack in them.

It’s the only reality show my wife and I watch together, and have been since it debuted. And the only reality show I actually watch. I even tried out for it a few years ago but never got the call.
