In most cases you will be able to keep the beaver you already have. I certain rare cases, you might have to go out-of-network for your beaver. But we will begin on day 1 to develop a subsidy, and/or a rebate program so your beaver will never be out-of-pocket.

Likely though you can get out of it with excuses for a few months. And some months people might forget about you and not nominate you that month (I notice we have a few mentioned on past nomination threads, some repeatedly, who are still in luck and have escaped that fate). I managed to escape it for a number of months. When someone went on a campaign, even off the goat nomination thread, I finally uploaded a death certificate and that excuse was deemed unacceptable (either that or they thought it was a forgery). Of course that particular month I also got a 9 mo job, had a bit less than two weeks to pack and move out of state before the job started and was beyond busy just trying to survive, let alone be a decent goat.

@Kidsandliz Thanks for the words of wisdom warning. I will keep my head down and see what plays out. If I am selected I will do my best to do my best. That’s all I can promise!
