@zen exactly. 100% of the reviews had that as the opening disclaimer. Nothing biased about that…
My favorite statement in those reviews:
“This massager is pretty quiet the only thing you hear is the speed against your skin.”
@Jonas4321 That listing is for all three styles of Sunbeam massagers but the Mini has ran out of stock. So, you’ll find some for the Compact, some for the Ultra and also the Mini. I think most of the reviews are for the Mini but it doesn’t specify on all of them.
@stinks I think they should send random IRKs to all Denver Nuggets players, and also Vegas Golden Knights while they are at it. I’m pretty sure there would be a mass expression of “WTF???” but on the other hand maybe some repeat customers that clearly have adequate funds at this point. And might be fun if they joined the forums. If nothing else they could afford the increasingly-expensive wine offered at the related site.
@jandrese@vlpronj More likely to bear a strong resemblance to the Kawasaki-branded drill and screwdriver bit sets that were around a few years back. Famous name, infamous quality. The car radios sold under that brand were also pretty much crap. I’m told that those were a pretty much canonical example of allowing a licensee to use your name without adequate oversight of the quality of the products being sold.
@IAMIS@raziel66 always have been, always will be. Some things in this world never change, just the appearance and method of payment. “you gotta VenMo me”, eh, whut?
@bass1193 “Sunbeam, they make home appliances, right? And HD sells appliances! It’s a natural!”
This is the kind of brilliance you get from hiring MBAs to run things instead of promoting the people who actually know what the fuck the business is about.
2nd one purchased……not a “paid” review. A really nice massage gun and a hella great one for the price, very easy to use bc it’s not mega heavy like it’s bigger brothers

@zen @jonas4321 Here are reviews on Amazon
We had this as the comp initially, but the “Mini” one we were selling here ran out of stock just a couple days ago.
@troy @zen Not sure how the reviews on that model are helpful, as it is a different product, but I may be missing something.

Really? We have zero NBA players who shop at meh? Not even a G-Leaguer?
/image you make me sad

People buy massagers at the HD?
Wow, the hand mixer/toaster company also sells adult toys?
@jandrese It would be like a motorcycle and piano company selling a similar item, yes?

I will stick with my gun I got a couple Mehathons ago. Besides, I like holding a gun for fun.
100% of favorable reviews across all sites searched were bought and paid for. That’s a big nope.
Sunbeam used to be a good outfit, back when they actually made stuff themselves instead of sending a team of buyers to the trade shows in Shanghai.
My issue with these. They don’t come with someone to do your back.
@IAMIS There’s street corners downtown for that
@IAMIS @raziel66 always have been, always will be. Some things in this world never change, just the appearance and method of payment. “you gotta VenMo me”, eh, whut?
Why tf is home depot selling this? We’re made of meat, not boards
@bass1193 Maybe the buyers were bored?

@bass1193 For when construction workers get achey??
@bass1193 Home Depot sells these as a substitute for wood.
@Trinityscrew You may have wood after using certainly. Also known to clear pipes of all kinds
Nothing really needs to be added; says it all right there.
EDIT not that there’s anything wrong with that.
