He has been hinting at something for a couple of years now. He did some videos, the Browncasts, the stage shows… and early on at least he made an effort to make it clear that Cutthroat Kitchen was a role he was playing, but Good Eats was Alton Brown. Hopefully we get him back.
I love how the tune from the Good eats theme is slow played in the clip. Also it sounds like Lucky Yates as the dungeon master is coming back(according to Alton’s Twitter)! So excited for this.

I enjoy watching fieri. Don’t understand the hate either… But then again, I currently have a Nickelback CD in rotation in my car.

@RiotDemon I don’t mind guy fieri so much. He does annoy me, but he hasdrives a nice camaro and goes to the kind of places I like to find on road trips so I will watch some diners, drive-ins and dives every once in a while.
Alton Brown, on the other hand, I’ll go out of my way to watch. I went to Memphis to see him live and probably will go somewhere nearly as far to see him again this fall.
But Nickelback? Come on, now. I’ve got to draw the line somewhere.
@djslack my car is old and the radio is built into the dash (prius). I could go really old school with the tape mp3 adapter or I could do the Bluetooth thing that broadcasts a station… I heard the quality is shit though, so I just occasionally burn a few cds and add them in.
I don’t mind Nickelback, they’re catchy. I normally listen to metal, so they’re not the typical choice, but occasionally I’ll put it in.
Does this mean good eats is coming back???

@sammydog01 ditto…had the opportunity to see him last Nov. Tix weren’t awfully expensive, but more than I wanted to spend.
@sammydog01 His live shows are well worth it! We drove to Memphis to see his first tour, but didn’t catch his last one.
It turns out he’s still on the last tour I thought I’d missed. May be making plans to catch him in Little Rock.
