Wow! Was the storm so bad that you had to go to the basement? I’ve never lived in a place that we had to take cover like that. Scary stuff, glad you guys are ok!

I’ve heard that some people handle stressful situations by compulsively cleaning.

Were you at that you had to go in the basement?
I live in a weird little area (lived here for probably 12 years or so) and up until this winter with our worst ice storm in 50 years the power has never gone out. Everybody else’s will be out but ours never goes out. Weather never gets crazy bad here like it will at my moms or dads house, 20-30 mins away. We definitely get tornados in MI but they’re not like you see in Kansas. Needles to say I’ve never had to go in the basement in this house. Tornado sirens will be going off and I’ll be cooking dinner like nothing is happening.

A little basement time, a few minutes without power but all good.
The weirdest thing was our robovac decided it was the time to start cleaning, which sounded bizarre and mysterious from the basement.
