Granted launches are so common in our age, we can just watch later, and Elon. Is Elon. But Elon is not spaceX.

That was spectacular!
Another Launch
Another Explosion
@oldmanliver Did it explode or did it burn up?
@yakkoTDI
I Just Wish I Had What
That Space Cost
@oldmanliver @yakkoTDI Burn.
Be nice to watch one launch. The other day I did hear the sonic boom as the one landing was passing over head at 4:40am (central) or something along that line (woke me up and the building shook a little). Wish I had been outside to see that trail.
@Kidsandliz that would be falcon 9 not starship from Texas. Although I agree it would be fun to see one. But you’re in Florida and they launch so often and announce the schedule I bet you could.
Seeing a landing would be rarer because they are often on the landing ships due to physics
@Kidsandliz @unksol
I believe she’s in MS.
@chienfou @unksol Yup. I live in the armpit of the nation, Jackson MS. The nation would be better off if we were part of the Gulf of Mexico as in under it. Unfortunately even worst case global warming projects Jackson will still be above water.
@unksol I don’t know what it was. It had 4 people on it coming back from the space station according to the news.
@Kidsandliz would be crewdragon then. The falcon 9 capsule
Here’s Scott Manley’s play by play and analysis for test flight #3.
Amazing coverage, especially from the onboard cameras. Never imagined we could have such extensive videos of a reentry during the plasma phase. Too bad the parts came down in more parts than intended. Maybe 4 times will be the charm.
Makes me appreciate what NASA accomplished so many years ago with the technology available at the time.
@mehcuda67 well. True. But the NASA rentry vehicle was a slightly smaller size
