I fall into the camp of old school Trekkers who absolutely LOVED Discovery and Picard. They soundly struck all my canon chords and were cinematically awesome. I still get goosebumps and tear up at the sight of Spock returning to the bridge of the Enterprise with Anson Mount as Captain Pike.
