Speaking of GPS trackers...

https://www.thetrackr.com/. I know it went down over there, but I can’t see it in the tall grass / corn / whatever.
Anyway, I ordered some…

“Up to 100 foot range”. I wonder what the real world range is? Is there a version that beeps when it’s lost? Audible feedback combined with that map utility would be a dynamic duo.
@ruouttaurmind I hope to find out…I’m at my brother’s house in Wisconsin and flew one out over a hay field, thinking it would be relatively easy to find if/when it went down. So it did, and it wasn’t–thought I’d be able to rev up the motors and hear it, but they don’t have enough torque to start up in the grass. Luckily, it was on the bearing I headed out on, and I ran right into it; didn’t see it until I was right on top of it.
But I had the Trackrs sent to San Diego (didn’t think they’d get here in time) so I’ll test them in the canyon behind my house.
