What annoys me about them changing the rating system is that they said they would use my old ratings to suggest stuff… But I have to rate all the stuff I’ve watched again. If I rated something 4 or 5 stars, should be an automatic thumbs up. If I rated it 1 or 2 stars, thumbs down. 3 could be left alone for me to rate again since I was kind of on the fence.
Thumbs up for the bumpin’ tunes. Today was the first time I’ve listened to a Mehsong on my nice new headphones, and my eardrums approve. I never knew how good singing puppets could sound!
@sammydog01 mine had given me stuff from my YouTube subscriptions before… But this time, it gave me veggie tales as well. What did you do to my YouTube??
In the early days of the internet, there was a site called “EachMovie” that was eerily accurate in its recommendations. For whatever reason, the algorithms for this type of thing seems to have gotten worse at predicting whether I would like a movie. This is counter-intuitive, because it seems like with more data, the results would get better.

Enjoyed this very much!
The follow-up video suggestion that YouTube gave me after this was Veggie Tales. That shows how much computers know about ratings.

Damn that Amy Sandler.
Can I hire the Li’l Reprobates my next party?

It’s been reasonably good at guessing for me.
