@tinamarie1974
pretty simple
8 ounces of penne
1 lb of sweet Italian sausage
1 sweet onion shredded in the food processor (i like onions)
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1 package pre-grated Italian cheese mix
cooked onion in garlic olive oil with some random Italian type spices/herbs
added sausage and browned it
added sauce and penne and about half the cheese
stirred a bit added to pan topped with rest of cheese
baked at 350 about 30
oh and yeah, pasta was precooked to just short of al dente
I’m cooking fish but we’ll have linguine with butter and Parmesan as a side. I made it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and fortunately everyone likes it.
Y’know…I sent 3 different Pasta Drops out & haven’t received a single dry noodle back, let alone a bowl of pasta salad, or even an invite to supper with one of my victims. Hmmm…
I’ve received 40 lbs of pasta thus far. Had some linguine and clams, spaghetti with ground turkey sauce, spaghetti with ground beef sauce, spaghetti with homemade tomato basil sauce, spaghetti with pesto sauce.
Next up may create some hybrid pancit or do chili spaghetti.
I sent my mom a pastadrop and told her that I was going to take the extras since I paid for it then my little brother came home and stole it all. Asshole hasn’t even used it, just has 40lbs of pasta sitting in his apartment in Indiana.
Last night I roasted some cherry tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, basil, and oregano. Then I mixed it in with linguine. It was pretty good but I need to start weighting my pasta- I’m terrible at estimating serving sizes.
@sammydog01
I haven’t used the linguine yet, but even weighing the penne, i think i would cut the amount next time. I’m not sure if it absorbs more water than the normal non-commercial stuff or what, but I used 8 ounces for 5 meals, and could have used less.
Looks pretty good. How did you make it?

I am starting to wish i had pasta dropped. All of my tomatoes and basil are ripening.
@CaptAmehrican my brother said it’s pretty good quality pasta too. Send him a box and hes used half of it so far. 10lb box.
Folks are almost through one 10# bag. Shared a few boxes. Only 200+ pounds left to go!
Four way (onions), using Skyline chili from a pouch.
I love Cincinnati chili.

@tohar1 Have you tried a wellness check? They may have been crushed.
@tohar1 You need better friends.
The penne rigate.

Pasta primavera for lunch. I’ve never made it before.
@sammydog01 what makes the sauce? I was thinking about making some pasta for lunch and I have zucchini.
@RiotDemon I just used butter with some parm on top. Bingeing with Babish said to buy the good butter so I did. I sautéed the veggies in olive oil.
@sammydog01 thanks!
