16I am currently doing a paper for my Organizational Behavior class, and will need to do a study of a business. What we are looking at primarily is how the employees work with each other. Is there any way I can profile meh, mediocre, or one of the others .com’s? I can send in all the info that I have for the assignment.

I’m annoyed by the overlap on these but my guess is that uniqueness can come out in any of the first 4. I dislike meta discussion of culture quite a bit even while having to admit others think we’re unique. The last two just seem academically boring to me.
@snapster I like the first one based on the fact that you seem to really value the opinion of others and that can be really unique in your business.
@conandlibrarian I’m guessing we won’t be able to explain that without also covering structure and culture, which suits me fine. I suppose if the study demands are too focused and decision-making later seems a boring direction, you might keep options open to jump track to structure or culture.

It might sound forced to some but I think primary service is to relieve manufacturers of inventory. We really are focused on that direction on one end while the sales end has numerous channels (straight retail, retail with tv segment production, drop ship for other retailers, wholesale bulk distribution)
Its size in terms of:
its annual revenue
rounding down it’ll be 40 million in 2016
whether it’s local, regional, national, or international
about how many locations it has ( I know this answer)
sounds like a franchise or brick and mortar type of question but we do have 2 offices, both in Dallas. 1 with our warehouse and one downtown. We like that this forces mobile workplace and collaboration tools that benefit our remote workers

@snapster “relieve manufacturers of inventory” Love it! I will have to tell one of my marketing friend’s this. She will get a kick out of that. Back when you first opened meh I send an IS friend, who teaches programming and website design in a business context, your site the something went terribly wrong video, some of the standard snark you have in assorted places… she used your site in her one class as an example with respect to making sites less boring (and who knows maybe you got some customers that way LOL).

After weeks, and weeks of work on this, I am beginning my annotated bibliography. I will present this next week and turn in the final paper in two weeks. I have a ton more questions to ask, but they will have to wait for a few days.
