Alton Brown’s edict about not buying single purpose gimmick utensils is in full force for this one.
Besides, none of our pots have the required “rust-proof” clips…
“Attaches easily and securely to any type of round cookware with 2 rust-proof clips”
@PhysAssist No, the clips are part of the strainer. The point is that this item replaces a larger collander/strainer you likely already have, thus reducing space in your cabinets.

I knew that there were stainless steel clips on the strainer, I was just making a joke about having read the blurb literally.
@Star2236
That’s what I was wondering, how will it hold up? Until it gets chucked across the room after ALL your pasta ends up in the drain! THAT’S what i’m afraid off!!

@PhysAssist …I’m honestly unsure if joking? It attaches to the pot, using the clips which are located on the strainer.

I just dump the pasta into a colander, drain it, and dump it back into the pot. Seems like less hassle than this contraption.
