@Lynnerizer I think the one I have is sort of working. I haven’t used it in a couple of weeks so it might be more effective if one follows the directions. I can certainly smell burning hair…
I bought one (different brand) and got some lasting results initially, but less as time went on. The delay between treatment and results can be frustrating. I have no idea if the machine is still working correctly (right intensity, right wavelengths, whatever) until I maybe see results weeks later.

Lol following directions is usually a good thing.
I do hate that burning hair smell but it could be worth not having to shave! And it’s SO inexpensive!
@rinrinrin Thanks!
Seems like this would be the perfect time to invest, I’ll be ready for bathing suit season next year. Woohoo!
I’ll probably procrastinate until it’s unavailable! Lol
One of the best expenditures I’ve ever made was getting my under-arm hair professionally laser-zapped at a dermatologist’s office. So nice never having to shave there anymore!
@Kyeh@Lynnerizer look for Groupons. Then call the place directly and ask for the Groupon pricing. A lot of times they honor it because Groupon takes a cut.
I paid $80 for six sessions on my underarms. I probably needed 7 or 8… But 6 has cut it back so drastically that even if I don’t shave for a week, it’s hardly noticeable.
@Lynnerizer@RiotDemon I paid a lot more! $700, I think? But it was at a dermatologist’s office and I only needed one visit; I still get a few hairs but they’re really hard to see unless you’re closer than most people ought to be. If I have to have totally hairless pits I can wax them easily now.

Has anyone tried one of these? I know the professionals use the larger versions but I’m wondering if these DIY ones can handle the job?

@Kyeh Has it never come back? Is that a one time thing, like it NEVER grows back? How expensive?
