When I was buying low-carb granola, these met the combination of “tastes good” and “isn’t $10 a bag”… that is until the in-store price skyrocketed. I make my own granola now, but if I were still buying it, I’d get a couple of these. The chocolate granola is VERY tasty on some no-fat plain greek yogurt. Lots of protein, very low sugar, and actually tastes good.
Dry goods like this are fairly forgiving with best-by dates, but I’d be wary of going more than a year, as the natural fats in nuts and seeds will eventually go off and give it a rancid taste. So keep that in mind with how fast you go through these.
Tastes OK, but as someone with a fairly mild peanut allergy, I can sense some cross contamination in the Chocolate variety after eating a few handfuls. Anyone else notice the same?
