@hiddenwoodsman Yes. I don’t have this brand or cameras, but it looks like free 30 day trial of the cloud AND you can also store video locally on the card. So either or it looks like.
Fun story! I just today set up the cat’s new mechanical litter box!
No, no, that’s not the story. The story is I set up an extra Ring camera to monitor their usage of the new appliance. I’m cyber-stalking my cats in their bathroom.
I’ll get excited when they walk by…“are they going to use it? NO, she just sniffed it! Or HE WENT WEE WEE! YAY!!”
It’s the little things in life that are important.

Oh I’m excited for your crew to be amazed by their new terlet! When we first got ours Tuc would sit and watch, wondering where on earth his poo was going! (Tuc’s got a living room terlet, we can see it. ) And YES, he told me. He also asked what the heck took us so long to get him the thrown that he deserves?
Go figure…
Ironically, we just got a camera like this one for Christmas. We’ll be putting it in our window to spy on the neighbors and delivery people. Some idiot with a bad attitude and a hateful heart delivered 3 packages the other day and left them in the rain just 12 inches from the main door to our building. They were from FedEx! It was pouring and items were ruined. It’s disgusting that a human is so spiteful and ugly to do such a thing. Most people bring the packages inside and right to our door!
I’m hoping Santa brought them nothing but coal for Christmas! Actually, I bet they don’t even celebrate.
…I know, I know, It’s the goats fault!
@Lynnerizer Yes! My Ring doorbell camera was the beginning, of course. The Ring ecosystem makes it dead-drop easy to add more devices. I had bought 4 additional Ring cameras awhile ago with the intention of putting them pointing out various windows for security but never got around to it. So having one to monitor the box is handy!
The HUGE litter machine box was actually misdelivered by FedEx to my neighbor’s garage door. SMH No camera there! I’ve heard that FedEx uses alot of contract and temporary help…fortunately I got the delivery text promptly and was able to go rescue it.
What’s Included?

Do the cameras have to be connected to the cloud server in order to be used? Or could I use them with an SD card ONLY? (Kinda like a trail-cam)
