Shirt Sites
2I guess this is largely @narfcake, but what are some other places you get shirts from?
I’m not a big collector like @narfcake, but I saw this advertised in my Facebook feed and it looked cool, but I don’t know if the site is legit.

I also don’t know if it’s really $20 cool, but maybe.

oh oh i know narfcakes secret… the sites he visits are these big boxes made of metal and brick… and you go in and you can buy things that others paid hundreds for, only you only have to pay pennies!

And in the pile of t-shirts you can find electronic goods.
I also saw this shirt a while back, and it’s really cool, but $30 is even less of an impulse buy territory for t-shirts:

I assume they’re legit since they’re licensing the Muppets IP, although I haven’t verified that and I suppose it’s easy to claim anything on the internet.
@jqubed FWIW, 80stees is a legit company.
TeeChip has a pretty bad reputation with artists- almost all the shirts sold there are stolen artwork. Be careful when buying.
@mj Good to know, thanks! Guess I’ll pass on them, then!
To contribute a legit company you might not have heard of, check out Raleigh’s own House of Swank. I’ve bought a couple shirts from them, although I just walked in their shop to buy them. A good chunk of it is NC-focused, more is southern focused, and some is more general interest. Nice designs and very comfortable.
What @MJ said. They are a print-on-demand site where anyone can upload an image and sell shirts. Alas, that means art thieves too, as @marcee could attest to how often her designs were stolen and posted for sale there.
Additionally, FotL blanks are the low-cost scratchy cardboard-soft variety.
I would avoid them.
Adding to this, @jqubed, keep an eye out on BlipShift, which is similar to crowdsourced daily shirt sites but for automotive designs.
