@FushYuMang@mediocrebot the last one “fritter” reminds me of a Pink Floyd song. But it also has the line “shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.”
But this item might at least help with breathing. Just finishing a week of Air Quality Advisory due to fire smoke. I had 2 air cleaners running in the bedroom; probably bought here! One has a digital display showing its estimate of air quality. It’s typically 002-004, and on the worst days it got to 017-025. That’s with windows closed as was advised, but 60-year-old house is not very airtight.
Almost unrelated, but Sharper Image reminds me of mall stores that are mostly gone. I hear some malls are coming back as a new generation re-discovers them.
But in this week’s R.I.P., the Portland Lloyd Center is closing today after 66 years. Will be demolished to become condos and apartments. It was the first mall to have an ice skating rink. Notorious(?) skaters like Tonya Harding got their start there.
I might want to buy one of these except that I’m fresh out of 100sq ft rooms. I suppose I could put one in my shed in the backyard. It’s 8x12 which is pretty close to 100sq ft. The other one could go into one of the bathrooms. Hey maybe I’m on to something.

I want to buy this, but I feel like I will be unhappy when I need to find a replacement filter.
@OON7 I feel like vornado is a good brand. But yeah the sharper image bit and it being on meh…
@OON7 The filter cartridge, MD1-0045, appears to be available from a number of online retailers for about $20.

The unit shown in the last product image isn’t even the same one being sold!
@PooltoyWolf yes I think I have that model still in the packaging. Definitely not this unit.

/image these aren’t the droids
@pmarin @PooltoyWolf - and then there’s that third option - what will you actually get?!? I wonder if Meh will step in and, er, clear the air?
@PooltoyWolf based on the dimensions in the specs I’m wondering if the last image is the accurate one - seems quite large
That is what it looks like before it gets a sharper image transformation

Where are all the images? Do I need to make some adjustments on my PC?
@werekong yeah - hit the back button until you get to the home page.

First Meh.com purchase in… 8 years. Hopefully it’s worth it.
