@blaineg when i checked in, i couldn’t think of anything appropriate, so something inappropriate went up instead… the sauce was weak, but the disturbance- not so much.
last time they had a shark steam mop, i got pieces to 3 different mops. after talking to meh CS and shark CS, i got mailed more pieces of the same wrong mops. after a second round of talks, shark stopped responding to my emails. i chatted with them once more, but they started the same series of questions from the first go around. i never got all the pieces to a working steam mop.
I hope it cleans up cat pee & poop. Our cat thinks a litter box is an option. Half the time she walks right up to it and squats on the floor—and commences to leave little pee paw prints throughout the house. We use a lot of pet pee cleaner. (I think I know why we don’t have many friends).
@perdi you need to pick up the mess with something else and then sanitize the area with the steamer. the steamer can help loosen any hardened-to-the-floor bits, though.
(or you can rub cat poop into your floors and then over any place you steam afterwards, if you want.)
this is true for any pad style steamer, btw. source: i’m a housekeeper for people with cats and i use steamers as part of my cleaning routine.)
Here for my mandatory “I got a Shark steam mop for a Fuko and love it as well as had a vacuum of Shark’s for 5 years and it still runs great” post anytime a Shark product pops up on Meh.
in my experience, steam mops don’t clean, they just sanitize after cleaning. i believe this is also the point of the product but it makes it a ‘meh’ for me. however i would like to see a handheld steamer for blasting hard surfaces like kitchen appliances or bathroom fixtures. would also be interested in a good vacuum for the right price so i’ll wait for mehbe those items
(one of my housekeeping clients just replaced her old steamer with one of these…okay it’s not this exact model but it’s nearly the same. it is easy to use, the handle is comfortable to hold, the pocket design is great vs others that have you velcroing it to the bottom which inevitably detaches during use and degrades over time so it’s always falling off. i like being able to turn the mop head over, and especially like that you don’t have to hold down a button to get steam. don’t let the mop get too wet or sit in one place or you’ll get dead arm trying to push it around after tho, lol. and do wash the mop head regularly and air dry.)
My first purchase!! Mainly because the wife saw it and instantly reminded me that she has wanted a steamer. (Not sure y not like she cleans all that much)

@medz
I have a really nice Bissell steam mop I’ve had for years and never used. Maybe I should buy this one and never use it too.
I don’t think this is going to fit in my pocket.
Might as well have a pocket mop; that’s where I keep my dirt.
Would those be hot pockets?
@alacrity something, something disturbs me.
(I didn’t want to put too much thought into it.)

Is it shark week?
/giphy steaming poop
Not biting!
Why not a gif of The Fonz jumping the shark?
@AdmiralDave As I looked through these I kept thinking “ok, the next one HAS to be the Fonz skiing”.
I guess they’re mor a into modern stuff. Aaayyy!
@AdmiralDave

@medz Giphy fails again. Mostly.

@meh Meh.be i could buy your spare parts instead of this?
Kudos to those responsible for the collection of shark-related .gifs. Great job!
I’d rather buy the shark-shaped cat bed.
Jumped it.
I bit “marbled-discreet-sponge”
I’d rather see a “Shark Tank Week” full of items that were on the show.
Illumibowl, socks, etc.
Which one is it? S3101 or S3601ref?
@powe0212 S3601
HEY THIS MEH CIRCLE WON’T CLICK.
@rprussell login first! They broke it and you must be logged into your account
@medz nope, didn’t help. Logged out and in again. Oh well, there goes a good record…

I normally don’t like Possom Skull in daily emails. Today, however, I laughed out loud
@nickm461 oh, those are my favorite haha.
Wait. A cat in a shark costume — on a Roomba — and a duck?
I need to know who these people are so I can hire them to do my funeral.
