@yakkoTDI Guess I should put on my glasses before I start reading forum posts; I thought this said “Oh the snark hey!” which on second thought isn’t so inaccurate.
For anyone looking for more info about this one, there’s a pretty solid review at Purifiertester and they say it operates on High at ~43 decibels, so not too bad.
I would be Happi if they had the Happi brand one again. I got the smaller one when it was offered here ($50) and I really like it – digital air quality sensor seems to work and controls fan in auto mode – when I tried to fluff an old pillow, the digital readout from the purifier started to go up and eventually the fan kicked to a higher speed. After a while air quality number was down again (low number = better) and it’s very quiet. The black model is still on SideDeal for $60.
There was a larger model once sold here but doesn’t seem to be available anymore. SideDeal has the filters for it for 3/$99, but you can’t buy the larger model as far as I know – would actually pick one up based on my experience with the smaller one.
Sorry to go on and on about a different product – I don’t know about the Shark one but based on info it seems like this one is pretty good for the $, and availability of 3rd-party filters at a reasonable price is good too.
I’ve thought getting one of these but i have to run a humidifier at night to keep my sinuses from drying out. I feel like they would fight for supremacy.
Can you believe I just bought this new on Amazon yesterday? On the bright side, there’s not a risk of it coming with somebody’s cat hair wedged inside…

Nice
What? I want to breathe refurbished air?
I do not live in an airy tree house so it doesn’t matter what comes from trees unless I am the one stuck doing the yardwork.

@mediocrebot Too cool, man.

Shark should make water purifiers not air purifiers

@mikeybotta Why not return it and save $80?
@troy Utter laziness
@mikeybotta @troy if you haven’t received it yet, you can cancel the order before it ever comes to your door. No effort required
I first thought it was a Snark filter.
Would have been an easy buy for $70!
@mehcuda67 This forum would get pretty empty if you used a snark filter on it.
/showme a snark filter

@mediocrebot Interesting peep into the soul of showme
