@ACraigL That's a good question. I have no doubt one of these boxes would make for awesome stocking stuffers for a doodler/writer - but there doesn't seem to be a picture of what the previous boxes have had in them, not on any social media, either. (@ChadP @hollboll)

@ACraigL We've launched beta style. As such, we're really just starting to put together images of what boxes look like and things like that.
Our first box was a pocket notebook, and medium size notebook, 2 great everyday use pens (one of which was the better Japanese import version), 2 commissioned exclusive postcards an exclusive designed poster. November's box contains tools to help writers, so it's got a lot of paper, a lot of writing tools, and some fun stuff to go along with it. December will really push the envelope for what's included.

@ChadP Maybe you can snap a picture of one of the boxes going out this month?

@medz I write a lot actually. Just finished writing a short film, which is my second short film. Next project will be writing my first feature film. Will probably try to produce the short films first.

@ChadP - Is December when you were going to tell us? How did your testers find out about it? Seems like a great idea!

@KDemo We got passed around a really niche Facebook Group that led to our original beta audience. We aren't being secretive about it, just haven't been marketing.

@ChadP - I wondered if you had taken the path of @JasonToon and eucopia. Wish you much success!

@ChadP It came in time! We had a big Chanukah get together on Sunday so I ran out to get a backup present, but lo and behold the box showed up on Saturday afternoon!

Wife was super stressed (first time having her family over at our new house) so I didn't get a real review, but she liked it & I'm super excited to see how her drawings look with that white gel ink on the nice black paper.

@MrGlass phew! We worked hard to get those out as soon as all the product came in. Glad to hear it made it safely and in time! :)

@sohmageek Try a number of inks and see what you like best. Goulet Pens does samples.

@ChadP thanks... Have you guys had any experience with any decent ones. I had found a site that does $2.50 samples of inks. I thought of picking up a few and see how they work.

@sohmageek to be totally honest I've never been a fountain pen person, and your idea of converting it is giving me ideas. Holly and I managed to snag a couple of them (xmas bonus from ourselves?) and I love it. I'm probably going to try to convert mine. I'll be heading over to Goulet pens and ordering some samples to try. I totally get the fountain pen love.

@ChadP let me know what works well for you. I will be looking into some inks. Looking into it. I found some really awesome metallic inks :)

@sohmageek This is my favorite ink. I use it in a fountain pen I had made (hand turned wood, blah blah blah). As well as in a Lamy safari. Careful with it though, it stains clothes like that's its job.

It definitely is more greenish-black than blue-black. but hey, that's my preferred flavor anyway!

As @chadp said: gouletpens also sells samples, so get some!

eta: sohma, the Herbin anniversary inks are gorgeous. The first one they did was the red, and despite how impractical it is, I bought a bunch of it when it was uncertain whether or not it'd be regular production… then they decided to make even more colors!
