@JonT i should mention that the name of that band is "The Knives" or something like that.. i figured it would say that on the video but no... so i'm sure my post doesn't make much sense now
I was all ripped going to say What is it 2 for Thursday now too... but it looks like they are different (slightly) Meh... you have enough of my money, No knives for me.. oh and now I'll go to sleep... I've left evidence that I didn't buy it. If for some reason a order confirmation shows up in my e-mail I'll blame it on @carl669
@ThatsHeadly Yea, not a bad knife and was going to buy them again.I always like 2fers' I can give as a gift. The hardest part was did I want to keep the serrated or the smooth one? (.....I'll wait while you ponder....) And I wanted to apologize about neurotically complaining about my headphone allergy last week.And now, let me apologize to ThatsHeadly for temporairly de-railing their thread.
So ah, what do ya do with a knife? I found this article, but I'm not going to be EMTing anyone out of a rolled vehicle, and if I need to open a box of lanterns and/or IP cameras, I can just get up and use a knife from the kitchen. What's the argument for throwing one of these in the fanny pack?
@fenguin Beside camping I find it useful when I'm working around the yard. Even around my house I seem to use one a lot. Last night hooking up my new receiver I had to use it to strip the wires and such. My Dad carries his everywhere and he uses it 2-3 times a day. If you live in an apartment, work in an office and don't do many things outside then yes you may only use as a box cutter. When you're more active outside you use it more than running in the house to use you're steak knife cut up twine for tying things up. Trust me I tried and my wife was not too pleased. EDIT I do use it to cut up apples to, not always at home sometimes the park when I split an apple witm my daugter or to cut out the bad spot.
@carl669 I actually found the opposite. I bought these last time we sold them because I've wanted to try out having a knife on me to see just how useful it was. I used it to open boxes at work and even then a boxcutter would have done the job better. I stopped carrying it around after a week or so because I never used it.
@JonT maybe you need to be more creative with your knife usage. like, "hey, this plastic fork doesn't really need four prongs". or, use it to cut post-it notes in half and save meh some money. or, there's always this office game favorite:
Got these the last time they came around - not a fan. The Kershaw knives are so much better. These are really rough to open and the studs rip up your thumb.
OK I caved. When someone explained it was like buying shoes it made more sense to me. painstaking-curvy-act And I'm NOT posting my image search for that.
I hope these fit in altoids boxes for little survival kits. In for 2x2. I had been eyeing up the $18 gerber bear grylls folding knife, hope these are an ok replacement.
I bought these from you in January. You need to sponsor a thumb fitness class class if you want to sell more of them. I have been spoiled by the Kershaw and CRKT knives you recently sold that open far more easily. These are truly MEH knives, nice and sharp, but somewhat challenging to open.
God damn you @JonT after I confided in you that buying knives is my addiction and I have been getting help to get clean, this is what you do!?!?! You dirty enabler!
Well, for $5 each, and solid reviews on Amazon, it's really hard to resist. Assisted opening would be really nice, but one of the reviews I read indicated that the opening function was quite well implemented, so here Meh, take my money. After all, I have to justify my VMP monthly payments somehow, and buying your stuff seems like the way to do it.
@givemeyoursoul Always is a very long time. I don't know if that's true but we'll see what happens today. As of right now, 98% have not purchased so I stand by "nobody."
@Thinkerer these are 5 bucks each. So think of it as getting the non-serrated version for almost free. Of course this assumes you have both Amazon Prime and VMP.
Bought these the last time around. They're sharp and sturdy. They ride around in the truck for occasional use, but the liner lock practically needs a hydraulic press to close, so not a good choice for EDC.

First!!! A First for me!!
@somf69 make it count.
@somf69 People who post just to say "first" make me feel all stabby. Lucky for you, I don't own any knives.
Oh, wait!
@somf69 Keep doin' satan's work!
i can't believe i stayed up all knife just to click meh :(
@labellyy you're cutting it close
@nadroj Edgy.
@labellyy you've made your point, no need to cut us any deeper.
@labellyy I don't get your point? But then, I'm not too sharp.
@labellyy I'd like to take a stab at making a pun, but it probably wouldn't cut it.
this should be mehs theme song:
@labellyy i do prefer this version though:
@labellyy but we already have 2 theme songs! Check out the themes button up there.
@JonT i should mention that the name of that band is "The Knives" or something like that.. i figured it would say that on the video but no... so i'm sure my post doesn't make much sense now
@labellyy I don't get the point to this joke... Sorry to be blunt
Just start knife.meh already. You know you want to.
@lljk more like meh.knife
Two for Thursday?
@TBoneZeOriginal two for two times thorsday! or something
@TBoneZeOriginal my thought exactly...
Cut it out with the knives. I don't see the point in having so many of them.
@lichme That one ran deep.
@sohmageek This is quite a dull pun thread.
@thenightstar I don't really see the point.
@sohmageek just buy it already and send it to me as a goat tribute.
@carl669 I was always told don't feed the goats. Also to have your pets spayed or neutered.
@sohmageek fuck that Bob Barker. he'll get his comeuppance.
@sohmageek Don't feed the trolls but definitely feed the goats. Sorry Irk.
@cengland0 @carl669 Wait was it don't sweat the petty stuff, don't pet the sweaty stuff?
@carl669
@sohmageek only the first seems like quality advice.
dat k-hole somebody give this writer a creative award for spinning tails..............
spring assisted?
@carl669 No. Your fault they're not. Just so you know.
It's not a knife, it's just a charade...
@alexzapatka ha ha charade you are!
I have a pocket knife- but I don't use it. Why do I need 2 more?
Love the dog toys though! My new puppy loves them.
@Gadgets I put these out in my last tag sale for $10 each. Sold 'em all.
@ruouttaurmind I never resell- I just buy for myself- otherwise I'd have like 20 blenders ;)
@Gadgets for a second I thought you bought these as dog toys and I was going to have to see your dog.
Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go, I wanna be serrated.
@jsimsace
you cut off all your fingers
you cut off all your toes
@nadroj Little one, big one, and middle one.
@jsimsace meh meh meh mehmeh meh meh meh mehmeh I want to be serrated
@TerriblyHuang a star for the mehffort!
In. I love knives. terrified-faceted-cupid
@KCFalcon59 Ditto (except for the confirmatory phrase). http://www.google.com/search?q=decisive-sulky-kitten&num=30&client=tablet-android-verizon&hl=en&source=lnms&v=141400000&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=i00vVZKuE8OdgwTHsoP4Cg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=800
@PhysAssist Oops, I meant decisive-sulky-kitten
I bought these last time. Not bad a bad little pocket knife for opening boxes and stuff.
These are the same ones as sold on 1-22-2015: https://meh.com/deals/1-22-2015
Nice knives. Question is whether I need any more. (Ok... whether I want any more. I don't NEED any more knives...)
Edit: actually, it was the kershaws that were nice. These are okish.
@fenguin When the zombies come you'll wish you had it...
@fenguin I think deep down most people do it because they think it's cool.
@JonT Nope, it's because it IS cool!
@fenguin Beside camping I find it useful when I'm working around the yard. Even around my house I seem to use one a lot. Last night hooking up my new receiver I had to use it to strip the wires and such. My Dad carries his everywhere and he uses it 2-3 times a day. EDIT I do use it to cut up apples to, not always at home sometimes the park when I split an apple witm my daugter or to cut out the bad spot.
@fenguin oddly, i never realized how much i needed a knife until i started carrying one in my pocket. i use 2-3 times on a typical day as well.
@carl669 Is that from the movie Aliens?
@cengland0 yep.
we liked these knives the last time!
well, everyone but Carl...
Got these the last time they came around - not a fan. The Kershaw knives are so much better. These are really rough to open and the studs rip up your thumb.
@CrazyLittle Thanks for the heads up. I was on the fence, but i hate knives with opening issues
Send me some Four Loko or I'm telling your purchasers. Yeah, it's blackmail...but I'm not proud.
OK I caved. When someone explained it was like buying shoes it made more sense to me. painstaking-curvy-act And I'm NOT posting my image search for that.
@LankHairdoo Why not? This is what I found: http://s892.photobucket.com/user/irishirideyo2/media/movies/lisbeth20_555.png.html
Like the Sog Flash but way cheaper and not assisted, and two... I'd get them if i didn't have a pocket knife, great for EDC.
More CRKT please.
@givemeyoursoul Cold Steel- I love their test to destruction videos
@PhysAssist At meh prices I would give cold steel a shot. I've just seen some really inconsistent quality from them in the past.
i bought so many of these already. gonna have one in every room, car, friends house, friends car.. ..
@username Unknown guy driving by on the street out front....
Meh. These are not the way to convince me to be a VMP again...
I hope these fit in altoids boxes for little survival kits. In for 2x2. I had been eyeing up the $18 gerber bear grylls folding knife, hope these are an ok replacement.
Meh....remember kids, don't take a knife....especially a meh knife....to a gun fight.
I bought these from you in January. You need to sponsor a thumb fitness class class if you want to sell more of them. I have been spoiled by the Kershaw and CRKT knives you recently sold that open far more easily. These are truly MEH knives, nice and sharp, but somewhat challenging to open.
Oh sure, I buy VMP and now we're back to selling knives.
God damn you @JonT after I confided in you that buying knives is my addiction and I have been getting help to get clean, this is what you do!?!?! You dirty enabler!
Ok, I bit.
Got them for my business out bags.
Order I'd pretty appropriate in case of the zombie apocalypse!
magical-frightening-skin
@Consigliare business out bag or bug out bag? Business out sounds like something you have to do if you don't hit your ball past the ladies tee.
@belowi I intentionally do not understand that reference.
unknown-persuasive-rum
Start selling guns already, then I'm in!
Guns for show, knives for a pro.
I want to go to Six Flags with the buyers......
2x2... throw 'em into the BOBs and the glove compartment.
"Don't tell our buyers: we're almost out of the knife business"
OK, can you update us on where you stand on the Speaker Dock business?
I only have about 40 something knives....two more Schrade's to add to the count ain't bad!!
I wonder how meh gets all these knives so cheaply? Oh, I know, because nobody gives a crap about knives. Enough already.
@grmeyer That is why they always sell out.....
@givemeyoursoul Always is a very long time. I don't know if that's true but we'll see what happens today. As of right now, 98% have not purchased so I stand by "nobody."
@grmeyer That's a pretty normal percentage for that statistic. 1000 of these have been sold already, and Meh usually doesn't have much more than that.
@grmeyer Oh, and it just sold out.
@grmeyer I know they have previously said they keep selling knives because they ALWAYS sell out.
@givemeyoursoul knives are like the anti-speakerdock
Baths?
Nah. $9@ for the serrated ones on Amazone...
@Thinkerer these are 5 bucks each. So think of it as getting the non-serrated version for almost free. Of course this assumes you have both Amazon Prime and VMP.
absorbed-abandoned-narwhal
@Squid_07 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=anM1N5oN-OM
The closure on these is kind of a bitch, especially left-handed.
@Jetlag I'm all thumbs....
Would have bought a couple more if I could select only straight edge - not a serrated kind of guy... What's the big dealio? Give us choices!
Bought these the last time around. They're sharp and sturdy. They ride around in the truck for occasional use, but the liner lock practically needs a hydraulic press to close, so not a good choice for EDC.
Have all the people struggling to open/close these knives tried the obvious solution - butter?
@brhfl I'm sure the French have tried that.
What, if, we all bought knives and started a gang and named ourselves the Tremehndously Deadly VMPs...
Is been 2 weeks since I've purchased these. Any idea as to when they will be shipped?
@DM396 Mine arrived a week ago and I usually am near the last to get my deliveries. Shoot a message to support.
