@pmarin We don’t go to the store too much. I usually go solo during the week. This morning we went to the zoo for a few hours, came home to nap and then this evening we’ll go to summer arts festival. Tomorrow is farmers market day.
@kjady I’m sure the cats wonder why you don’t do that more often. Cats have correct priorities for sleep and play, less so for work. (unless the work is catching mice, in which case it is actually play so that’s OK, but will justify an extra nap.
@phendrick That’s exactly what I’m doing now (the planning part anyway). However the napping mentioned in previous post is sounding tempting after that tough morning of planning.
This Saturday? For hauling a load of fluorescent tubes and ballasts, old batteries and other miscellaneous nasty stuff to the local hazardous waste collection event.
I hate being home on Saturday in the summer. Get the kids out and go do something
@show_the_maw I hate going out to stores on Saturday morning in Summer: too many people taking the kids out going shopping.

SomeONE else?
@PooltoyWolf Oops! You’ve been OUTDONE!
Bigger inflatables!
Bigger pool!
(The management does not endorse the ads. Sorry.)
@phendrick Bigger inflatables than me?? Pffft, not likely!
@PooltoyWolf Yes, likely. Did you watch the video in my link?
@phendrick Yes, I did! Those duckies don’t count because you can’t ride them
(Also, the word impractical comes to mind, heh)
Catching up on sleep and/or napping with the cats.

Getting stuff done; or at least planning to get stuff done.

Makin’ whoopie…pies
Whatever she says.
Saturdays are just another day when your work tends to happen on them.
Cleaning around the house or maybe some cactus work. After that take a casual bike ride and then a shower with nap follow up.
Napping with the cats, punctuated by walking the dogs. Sunday is when I get stuff done.
Saturday is when we get to do stuff we need to do. See the family, play with the little ones, and rest.
This Saturday? For hauling a load of fluorescent tubes and ballasts, old batteries and other miscellaneous nasty stuff to the local hazardous waste collection event.
@macromeh But those tubes make such a satisfying POP when you crack them and release the smoke.
@show_the_maw

Mercury vapor, mmmm…
