Woooo goggles! Giving up on em?
@sportykev Ya, giving up on a bunch of drone stuff. “Thinning the herd” as they say. Tali, one of the Cheerson CX-20’s, one of the Walkera QR X350 Pro’s, all the “dumb” quadcopters, most of the cameras, gimbals, FPV cams and VTX… they’re all headed to eBay. Gonna pile up all the proceeds and jump into a big dog. Maybe a Inspire or Spreading Wings. I’m tired of crashing all the low-dollar stuff. I’m ready for the thrill of watching a few thousand bucks dig a ditch.
@ruouttaurmind that’s cool. it’s like me, I need to sell some cars, they just sit around, sucking up insurance, dmv reg, and annual inspections. Inspire 1 should drop, it’s been out for awhile now.
@sportykev I saw an Inspire 1 on Craig’s List for $1500 a couple days ago. But I suspect the original Inspire tech is pretty long in the tooth by now. Consider the original P1 compared to the P3 Standard (which is readily available for as little as $350 brand new). What a difference a few years makes!
@sportykev Boy, bidding is going slow on these. I fear I may have made a mistake when I listed with no reserve. Looks like I may be losing a pile of green on these. Especially after eBay takes their cut, then PayPal sucks the rest of the meat off the bone with their share. This is why I prefer to do Craig’s List… sell a bit cheaper, but no seller’s fee or payment fee, and the instant gratification of cash in my pocket.
@ruouttaurmind still over 2 days, you’ll be fine, otherwise, I’ll snipe it!
@sportykev It surprises me that there are two different sets of bidders. At no time has any bidder bid on both items.
But then, I’m amused by the oddest things.
Here ya go @sportykev, DJI has the Inspire 1 v2.0 on sale for under $2K: http://store.dji.com/product/inspire-1-v2
