@brennyn Came here to say the same. Seconded. I have a small one that is used to blow the hot air down from the ceiling in the family room during the cold months so that the whole area feels warmer.

@brennyn @catthegreat In the family room, plopped down where there was space “until we can clear a path to the kitchen and dismantle the shelves in the-nook-that-we-can’t-use-for-breakfast[1], and then relocate the old fridge over there.”

1. We can’t use the breakfast nook as a breakfast nook because it has a huge desk in it that was once the shipping bench for my business and is now the place where the cat food and several other classes of Thing abide. There’s also a litter box, a steel cabinet that’s not entirely accessible, and the aforementioned shelves that have been repurposed in a manner which makes them unlikely to get removed because they’re serving a valid current purpose. Reorganizing this place requires more yak shaving than can be contemplated while remaining sane.

@DocJRoberts I am genuinely baffled by the people who adore the tall Dyson “bladeless fan” as though it’s some piece of dark wizardry.
