Remember that Music Monday group from Woot? Well...
14Why did I make this post?
There used to be a community of music listeners who would meet up every Monday (Which quickly became every day) to play music for each other on the website TurnTable.fm After Turntable.com went under, the group scattered, but about 10-15 people moved with us over to Plug.dj. Plug.dj recently went under as well, and as we shifted to the new site, we lost even more people. We're now down to a dedicated hard core 4-6 members.
Why should you care? Well, I want to try to bring this back. Social music sites such as dubtrack.fm allow people to create rooms and build playlists. It then moves one by one through members who have songs queued, so you get a wide variety of new/old/different/muppets songs. So if you're tired of your old play list, mix it up with the rest of our playlists.
So, do you sit at a computer some/most of the day while working? Do you have the best taste in music? Come prove it to us!
Some things to note about the site: It is a new site that is being updated daily, so there are still some bugs. There is a way to hid videos so it doesn't look like you're slacking off. There is a chat feature as well, which can be disabled/hidden if your work doesn't allow those types of distractions. Want to chat with other Meh members but don't want music? You can just mute the page and chat away!
But seriously, come check us out! We're always open to listen to any genre, any music, really.

I also remember dragging @jasontoon into turntable when he had time, so maybe he'll come visit you guys in this new thing as well. And if you ever see @dave appear please someone play this song
@slydon I don't think I referenced meh on my woot post? I should have referenced the Music monday portion here but I didn't think about it until I decided to post something on Woot as well. The subject for this post references Woot at least, and mention meeting up on Mondays for music. It's a stretch, but does that work!?

One of these days I will have some time in the afternoon to stop back in. I keep meaning to but then @hamiltwan 's spiders attack me again and...well you know how things go from there. Hopefully the rapidly approaching cold weather will keep them at bay and I will be able to hang out with you guys again!

How do we find music to share? Use a youtube link or something?
@luvche21 If you're on the site, click on the Play button in a circle on the bottom left of the screen. Use the search function, and select either searching Youtube or Soundcloud. If you find the song you want, add it to a playlist (Click the purple + sign to create a new playlist). After you've done that, you can also add songs to "My Queue". Songs in your queue will play when it's your turn to play a song.
