@lichen the ones I bought from Meh a few years ago were bluetooth accessible, iPhone compatible, and also had a magnet clip to go along with the pin option. Oh, and they were two for $14.
I have one of these from back in the day, but you have to program it by hand using those tiny buttons… takes forever to input something relatively simple.
So totally gonna retrieve that from my fridge and play with it at work today.

That software looks soooo shady
@darkzrobe looks like most of the simple VB config programs I have seen.
Programming this with usb seems excessive…
