Really, Sidedeal?
5I finally gave in and ordered a Zipp Mini 2 speaker. The shipping took a little longer than usual, but not as long as other orders during busy times. I was excited to get the package today, a Sunday. Except I didn’t get the speaker I ordered. I got some ear buds. How does that even happen? I just submitted a trouble ticket, but it will be days before I get a response and weeks maybe before I get what I ordered IF they even have any left in stock (it’s happened to me before). What the hell, Sidedeal? I hope this isn’t because I talked shit about that suction cup speaker (I know it isn’t, but wouldn’t it be a hoot if it were?).![enter image description here][1]

I thought they ran out of the mini 2 a while back.
@sammydog01 i ordered this on may 14…they sold out of the full size 2 a while back, but they were showing the mini 2 available for about a week after i placed the order. Now it’s showing sold out/can’t select color on morningsave. The original zipp full size is available in one color, but I’m not dropping another $80 until i have some kind of assurance I’ll get what I ordered. (I’ve generally had good experiences with customer service, but covid hit my income really hard this past year and i had to save up for this which is why i waited so long to order and I’m really not optimistic after getting ear buds in the mail). If I don’t get mine and they have them in irks I’m gonna be even more pissed off than i am. I could understand getting the wrong color or the wrong size or even a mini instead of the mini 2. But how does anyone mistake earbuds for what - even in the mini size - is a pretty big speaker?
@iamdmann it is a puzzling error. Support will take care of you one way or another. They do get the weekend off, but you won’t go away with both an empty speaker spot and an empty wallet. (You might not get the speaker if they’re sold out, though.)
The only reason i know it was still available was that if it sounded as good as people said i was going to try to get another one if it was still available (new job on monday, thank goodness).
So customer service was fast and helped as much as they could, but it’s sold out, so no zipp mini 2 for me. Hopefully the zipp mini i ordered from morningsave is still in stock. OH, and my foot-IRK just shipped (got the notification email as I’m typing this), so something to look forward to! Thanks, support team…you did the best you could in a crappy situation and I appreciate the help!
