24Today I was extremely surprised and humbled that one of our mehtizens saw a piece of Blues memorabilia and sent it to me.
I don’t know if they want to be identified, so I will leave them anonymous for now. All of that said, I truly appreciate their kindness. THANK YOU!!

It is obvious to anyone who has been on meh for more than a month that TM74 is the truest of Blues fans.
I confess, I saw this at auction and no one had opened the bidding and I thought, wouldn’t it be a hoot if the opening bid won this? And I impulsively opened the bidding, thinking that if I won it, I would figure out how to have it delivered to her.
And wouldn’t you know, I won!
It isn’t a ticket from a game from years ago, but I hope you enjoy it nearly as much.

Also, I am pretty sure you didn’t know that Brett Hull is one of my all time favorite players (I try to ignore his recent drunkenness lol). I idolized him as a teenager

It was a well matched series and I think both teams did an outstanding job. I have the utmost respect for Tuukka Rask, he is excellent!
I think the Blues were just a little hungrier for the cup. More was on the line having never won before

It was a great friggin series though wasn’t it?! Took years off my life. I’ve never had more whiskey in a 2 month period than that playoff run.

@JnKL I have been on Meh since 2014, and I had no idea that TM74 even had a favorite color band in the spectrum. [I assume when you said she favored the blues, that is what you meant.] FWIW, I favor the IR bands of the spectrum.

@PhysAssist in a couple of blame threads TM74 has been lowball bidding on a nearly priceless ticket to a Blues game. Maybe three times she has posted that she has offered less and less money and the seller won’t budge from their reserve amount.
Between those posts and her passionate post back when the Stanley Cup was being played for, I inferred that she likes Blue.
Now that I know you favor IR lights, I may bid on a security light or something…
