@flooners Now I can’t find it either. Maybe it was another site like walmart or something. 4 stars out of about 80 or 90 so a decent number, most common complaint was leaking air. The 4 and 5 star people didn’t experience that. I’d imagine quality control issues.

Do Fenris and his friends need a pad to sleep on? You can make it part of his upcoming birthday’s presents.
Every 13-year-old deserves his own sleeping pad!
(Just watched the video of him blowing out his 10th birthday candles, and had the thought that it’s a good thing he doesn’t develop gas. Me, OTOH, …)
I bought 3 back when they were $30 on Meh, and now that they’re $22 I’m buying 3 more, just because it’s such a value. I did test one, using the bag to inflate it took nearly 10 minutes. The second night it rained so we camped out in our suv, holding the opening up to the car’s dashboard air vent and on high it inflated in 15 seconds! I guess if you’re in a remote location, you could try one of those mini handheld fans.
I’m 230lbs and it was comfortable, but next time I might stack 2 on top of each other, to achieve a couch like feel. I was skeptical after seeing the valve on how it could possibly stay inflated, but it did, and I think it’s because they did a good job placing a solid flap on the inner valve, so my weight pushed air against that flap with such force, making it airtight. I’d say as long as that flap stays strong and aligned, air really has no chance to escape. Such a simple design, but when done right it works.
It’s an odd but effective design - the sheath you stuff it into for storage actually attatches to the valve. You fill the sheath with air and squeeze it in sort of like a pastry bag. Took 3 presses which didn’t even take a minute once I had the hang of it. Wife and I figured this out while camping. Impressive design and comfortable to sleep on. My wife wishes it were wider, but she says the same thing about a king size bed, so . . .

Has anyone bought these before? Wondering what the inflation/deflation process is like, since that’s usually the pain with inflatable pads
@flooners It’s on amazon.
@Kidsandliz I can’t find it googling the item name

@phendrick You remembered his birthday!

How comfortable were they to sleep on and did they stay inflated all night?

This will be a great addition/replacement to a picnic blanket I have in the truck. Plus the chance at a cheap IRK makes this an instant buy for me.
