@Kidsandliz I was actually going to blame you for it. Though you can’t put it on @skemmehs or even @jasontoon. Pretty sure they have nothing to do with the pictures, no?
@readnj I would be happy that this is Tuesday… have crap I need to do tomorrow that I don’t want to and that crap has gotten in the way of me finishing the exchange stuff so it isn’t being posted tonight.
I always assumed that everyone who buys an air purifier just buys it for the reassuring humming sound it makes, rather than expecting that it will actually clean anything. Sort of like a white noise generator.

Pasted from the write-up: "And if you do your research might find some air purifiers out that there seem just as good at a lower price,…"
Huh? After the 2 pints I had, this hurt my head!
Model: PEAIRPLG
(Purifies Even Air Into Regular Pleasant Laughing Gas
– now that product would be an insta-buy)
Recreational use of nitrous oxide is becoming increasingly common, particularly among young people. Many serious injuries result, with an average of three to four deaths per week in the United States alone.
I realize that the text quoted above is intended as a joke, but this is no laughing matter.
@copperx They’re effective at reducing air particles within a given radius with their fan-powered circulation (performance is measured in a standard 1000 cubic ft room). The normal, passive air circulation between rooms in a house is fine, but as you suspect, open windows or air pumped from larger areas can introduce dust more quickly than they can handle
I’m quite impressed by the slick industrial design of this one and would have at least considered it if I didn’t already have perfectly fine air purifiers at home.
However, the deletion of the Amazon listing is fishy, and there aren’t many reviews elsewhere.
I’d trust the air filter part to be actual HEPA as claimed (it’s easy enough to get replacement HEPA filters that fit most purifiers), though the specs say it processes just 80 cubic feet of air per minute. Other purifiers for rooms that size can do 150+ CFM.
@Mgambony Wayfair has them. Model: PEAIRFIL
Size: 9"x8.75:x1" $20. It’s a custom, combo filter (pre,charcoal,HEPA). Not sure where you can get them otherwise or if there’s a substitute.
@Mgambony Wayfair dropped the price to $15. Order 4 for free shipping. You might want to stock up anyway since it seems like it’s discontinued. Kinda wish I grabbed one now though.

@yakkoTDI
Meh air–need a little hepa tonight ?
Baby arm is back with a vengeance.
@cinoclav Yeah that might be
partly my fault@mikibell’s fault as I asked the new writer why no baby arm recently…@Kidsandliz I was actually going to blame you for it. Though you can’t put it on @skemmehs or even @jasontoon. Pretty sure they have nothing to do with the pictures, no?
@cinoclav nope can’t blame me - I am not the goat.
APEH=HEPA backwards in case anyone was wondering.
@Stallion I was.
Maybe they need to air out their warehouse?
Cool deal?
@mikibell it is your fault there are duplicate threads for this. @shawn
Meh thinks of they duplicate this thread we will be convinced it’s Tuesday

It purifies the air like Lake Minnetonka purifies the body?!
@paula312 “Game. Blouses.” . . . . more than a decade later it’s still funny.

Meh.
@makhay This product isn’t even sold on Amazon? I can’t find the listing for it…
@Collin1000 it’s no longer sold on Amazon. I’m thinking there is a reason why… And it’s not a good one.
The vendor, Pure Enrichment, is still on Amazon with a bunch of home appliances. Not saying they hire shills, but they must love those people whose hobby is leaving 5-star reviews for their entire product line…

GET IT?! NO LAUGHING MATTER! BAZINGA!
I imagine that an air purifier only works if the room is sealed and there is no ventilation carrying “dirty” A/C air into the room.
So, this product will only truly work for certain parts of the country on certain times of the year for people with truly sealed rooms.

Typo in the description - true mediocrity.
If I buy an air filter I won’t be able to smell the cigars my wife smokes
It would literally be cheaper to buy a trailer full of these than to pay for the replacement filter on my Electrolux.
Your post says it comes with “filters.” How many filters does it come with?
I did a search on replacement filters for this unit. Let me know if you find them.
