I had a wine slushie once. That was pretty good. It was some mix with ice and I think moscato in a slushie machine at a winery. That’s the only time I’ve had wine I liked. I was with friends that like wine and at first they thought the slushie was weird. Until they tried it. Then they both got some too. But other than that I don’t wine. And making that at home seems like a lot of effort. If I’m going to put that much work in I’d rather have a frozen daiquiri or margarita.
I never met a Syrah or a Malbec that was anything other than sincerely, heart-warmingly good-hearted and that just wants to be my friend, day or night, winter or summer, in sickness and in health.
@FightingMongoos
Regular for me, just about the only pop I drink too. No cola, gross, I do like vernors also but I don’t really drink pop, to much sugar.
the only time i drink wine is if i’m at a party and i don’t want to leave yet and there’s no more liquor. preferably something white and cold and absolutely not any of the gross sweet varieties under any circumstances.
I don’t know if this is considered trashy, but in sunny weather, I loooove a nice glass of Vino Verde. Which I think translates to Green wine. It’s Portuguese I think. But it’s got just a touch of fizz to it, just a little, and it’s tasty. Perfect sunny weather wine. And I have none at this moment. What the hell.
Cheerwine!
I wish I knew enough about wine to understand what half these selections even are.
A nice Syrah.
don’t care about the weather, any dry red will do

A chilled Grüner Veltliner.
If that’s not available, a crisp Gewurztraminer will do.
@mike808 my current fave …
Diet Coke.
Campari and soda. A Negroni is good from time to time too.
@ahacksaw You should try Campari & grapefruit juice.
@rtjhnstn I have! It’s very good, but for me, Nothing beats the straight Camparia and soda.
Cava
A grape soda.
Ooohhh, it’s sooo hooottt. When is it eeevvver going to cool oooffff?
What? Oh, wine. Never mind.
Red, red or red. Except those 3 liter boxes, very disappointing; they say they last three months but they only last a couple of days.
@dinof Then don’t drink it from a 16oz Solo cup.

Ding, Ding, Ding… we have a winner!
Trader Joe’s usually carries a really nice VinoVerde…
Bah! Summer wine, of course. It has that “special something” in the mix.
On a really hot day I prefer the reverse Jesus wine; it’s been turned into a nice big glass of ice water.
