So you're in the camp that says halogen bulbs are not incandescent bulbs? And that they do not, like non-incandescent bulbs, burn a filament to create light (and heat)?

I'm not having a problem with stretching the light bulb lineage back to Edison.

Edison was a dedicated bully and a keen businessman, kinda like Steve Jobs. And the actual inventor of the incandescent bulbs is Alexander Lodygin.

Also, hail Tesla! That guy was an actual genius.
