@Matthew... MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE you get all the ammonia out before you start using the bleach next week!!! Those two together = poison gas. In fact, various poisonous gasses can be released. SCARE. And I need you to keep your lungs unburnt so that you can continue crooning for us! So just... Please be careful!
@curtise could it be that we are too late? Maybe he was working on PHC6 before your warning, and is now unconscious in the shed? Can someone report his health status??
Last time was the first one that really grossed me out. This one really raises the stakes, because if I was doing this I'd be way too lazy to glue all those teeth back in.
No real reason, it is a valid method. Though I expect the advantage of boiling/simmering is greatest when there's more meat on the skull in the first place. Also I hear tell it can be hard on the bone, and this one was in a pretty fragile state already. But it would have been another way to go, and if you choose to boil your possum skulls, no one should have any cause to second-guess you (except maybe your condo association where applicable).
In high school second year biology we stuffed road kill squirrels (mom kind of freaked when she found mine in the freezer in a plastic bag before taking it to class) and for reasons unknown teacher wanted the insides. Borax is what we used on the hide to keep it from rotting, prior to stuffing.
360p?? PHC should be in HD. :'|
@BabyBear Previous ones were 1080p. Shows as just being upload today, so YouTube might still be encoding the HD version.
@BabyBear I was going to say the exact same thing!!!

Yes, yes, pour the bleach in now for maximum ☠ effectiveness!!!
@Emitsu that's not nice. Just trying to help you out @Thumperchick
This show is gross, vile, putrid, and continually leaves me wondering why any one would ever do this.
See you at week 6 everybody!

Now that the fleshy rotted bits are gone, it's less gross.
Makes me wish I had a 'possum skull to clean.
@matthew Why didn't you boil the head?

Maggots would work too… I read there are farms out there where they deflesh skeletons of all types (including human) in containers full of maggots.
@Kidsandliz or dermestid beetles!
