are these equal to or greater than the bubbas? those things are amazing. they keep ice frozen all day even in 105+ degree heat in texas (I tried it like the ad said it actually works) if these are more like that I might nab some, if they're inferior then pass only because of how great the bubbas are
@boygenius1991 I wish they were. The lid looks like the deal breaker for me. It looks like they would leak easily. My current coffee cup is kind of crap, but a 24oz bubba is too big. I want a 16, but it needs to have a good lid, so it won't leak. I use my 24oz bubba for ice water, and I can carry it at all angles without it leaking.
@Zypher I highly recommend the bubbas. they resell them often enough. the 24s are nice for me, but I'll admit they're an awkward height if your cupboards aren't modular.
just store 'em sideways under your counter with your blender and such when not using them. (combine them with juice and crap from a ninjapro for maximum meh points)
bubba lids are fantastic. I can carry one in a cloth briefcase with no ill effects.
@boygenius1991 That's pretty amazing. I didn't really think of a use for them before, but they will be handy during events in non-climate controlled buildings. I got 1 of each size of these - if I actually use them I'll probably try some Bubbas next time!
@boygenius1991 I have to disagree about the 24 oz Bubba lids. i carry coffee in mine five days a week and the heat from the coffee caused the O ring in the lid to expand. Now the ring does not fit in place right and my Bubba leaks. The 20 oz they sold has a much better O ring and I have had no problems with it.
@sammydog01 I don't know what's worse - watching it, or when at pub trivia one night, our audio round was "porn for the blind" and we had to sit there and listen to a narrated version (and then answer questions about it). Thanks, Geeks Who Drink.
Reviews at the Mother ship aren't bad. Love my Bubbas, but I dropped a big one on the lid, and the snap lid broke. Full of coffee. Dogs fault. Lol. Easier to clean than Contigos. May spring for a few. Good Nurse gifts.
@Mandamm or get your nurse friends signed up at Meh. Chances are you'll all like different things from Meh at different times. So you can order extras for each other when needed.
@callow I wonder if it's the lids or seals that make it more handwash recommended? Either way, it is definitely confusing - maybe @moose is up and can tell us if they meant the "top rack safe" bit or not.
@Thumperchick If I had to guess, I think it's kinda like the Anvil blanks saying they could be tumble dried, but with no regards to its appearance afterwards. The finish may be damaged on these in the dishwasher, though as a cup, it'll still be functional.
I'm assuming these are the old ones? I am actually looking for a twist on lid. I have used the one with the silicon seals that press into the stainless steel mug and they work very badly and wear out quickly.
@Orcrist42 based on the lid design, it press fits. The tab on one side is used as a lever to remove the lid. Twist on lid would likely have serrations around the lid edge.
@Orcrist42 I found a YouTube video of this design - the lid snaps on, but the top has a piece that twists to open or close the opening to drink or pour from.
I used the tracking and understand my order was returned back to warehouse due to wrong address. I believe zip was wrong. Should have been 23237, instead of 23236. Is it possible to ship again?

@AttyVette woo coffee
@AttyVette I'm going round and round on this one.

@boygenius1991 Well, being a Texas resident, that's good to know. I always just ignored those when they were on sale...hmm

Meh don't need more cups
@Stallion You could always gift it to the two girls that have to share one.
@lichme
@lichme Once again I looked something up and was sorry. Very, very sorry. Screw you Internet.
@sammydog01 I don't know what's worse - watching it, or when at pub trivia one night, our audio round was "porn for the blind" and we had to sit there and listen to a narrated version (and then answer questions about it). Thanks, Geeks Who Drink.
@Zypher
Said mini UFO not included -UFO translates into universal FUKU object
@AttyVette I want to say "no UFO no deal" but...I want some of these.
Wonder if these tumblers can take a spill and holdup
@AttyVette I've gotten one from work, and in my experience it can handle a knock onto the table, but I wouldn't trust it for a drop on the floor.
@AttyVette Small Jessie James not included.
My only problem is that it's not a contigo. Those mugs have saved more shirts on the drive into work than I can count.
Alright. Why not. 12oz Green Tea, 16oz Flamingo, 22oz Starry Night
gory-minty-cider
(sadly not an interesting image search - 1st image is a couple hugging? what?)
Reviews at the Mother ship aren't bad. Love my Bubbas, but I dropped a big one on the lid, and the snap lid broke. Full of coffee. Dogs fault. Lol. Easier to clean than Contigos. May spring for a few. Good Nurse gifts.
@Mandamm I'm not a nurse, could I still give it away?
@Mandamm Bubba Lifetime Warranty. Test it.
I don't know why not. Just sayin'. I am a Nurse, we are known as coffee, and chocolate loving Crazies!!! But I need more than just 3.. Come on Meh.
@Mandamm Just sign up a second account and buy some more.
@Mandamm or get your nurse friends signed up at Meh. Chances are you'll all like different things from Meh at different times. So you can order extras for each other when needed.
Meh. Needs more purple.
(But in for three to gift anyway.)
@narfcake Are you Marie from BB?
@w_a_w Nope and nope.
I'm good with my Bubbas!
Main page says "Top-shelf dishwasher safe", more specifications says "Hand-wash recommended"
@callow hint, hint.
@Thumperchick it's pretty clear to me. When I see "top rack only" it never goes in the dishwasher. Just as with sharp knives we want to keep that way.
I think the Bubbas might have said dishwasher safe but I like them too much for that kind of chemically and thermally tortuous abuse.
According to the website, "New for 2015, we’ve created a 100% leak-proof lid! This twist-on lid features a double locking swivel closure"

I'm assuming these are the old ones? I am actually looking for a twist on lid. I have used the one with the silicon seals that press into the stainless steel mug and they work very badly and wear out quickly.
Can anyone tell me how the lid attaches on this?
@Orcrist42 based on the lid design, it press fits. The tab on one side is used as a lever to remove the lid. Twist on lid would likely have serrations around the lid edge.
@Orcrist42 I found a YouTube video of this design - the lid snaps on, but the top has a piece that twists to open or close the opening to drink or pour from.
@Orcrist42 you want Bubbas.
Being planetary, do they come with gratuitous unplanned satellites? Have to make space in the cabinets given your answer.
Really disappointed that there's no UFO option!
I wanted four - one of each color.
So, batteries not included?
@Ruger9mm No, but they're water cooled.
@mcanavino No it's not. It's full of ghosts or spirits or something and they're just trying to make me look bad!
No HDMI, I'm out.
Anybody want to order 3 more 12 oz and send them to me...I want more!
Nah not big enough
@cranky1950 ... TWSS ...
@Thumperchick She's probably right, but there are many paths to achieve a goal.
That was much safer for work than expected.
trying-moaning-ape
Might sound silly, but do these tumblers have lids?
@silverqueen2 Yes.
Not as waterproof as the not-quite-waterproof banana boat speaker, I'm holding out until it passes the jello test.
it would only let me order three of them. I wanted to order more Is there a limit?
@lendman2009 Yes, 60 oz.
Nope. If you can't warm it up in the microwave, it's no good to me.
Don't need. Bought 2. Would probably do it again...
