4Does anyone here use http://pixels.com/ to sell their photographs or artwork framed or printed on stuff? If so, what’s been your experience? Any tips for selling or setting default pricing? Can you really make money doing this? Is there are real benefit to upgrading to a Premium account? Enquiring minds want to know.

Hmmm, I guess nobody uses this. I’ll give it a shot anyway. It sounds interesting. A friend of a friend makes money from his crummy photos, so there may be hope.
@heartny
Keep us posted on your finding. You’ve piqued my interest.
@DVDBZN Will do
@heartny progress reports would be appreciated
@heartny That would be interesting. I enjoy taking photos but only get a few good ones by luck (ama-choor!). If there’s a way to monetize, even on a very small scale…
@duodec The photos my friend’s friend posted aren’t that great, yet he says he sells items regularly. Basically, you upload your photo and customers buy them as prints or Pixels.com will print them for you on a variety of products, from totes to shower curtains in various sizes. There is a page under your account where you set your default pricing for what you want if an item sells with your photo on it. You can leave the default pricing (which is quite low) or update it to what you whatever desire. Pixels has a set price for what they get, so your price is on top of that. If an item sells, you will receive payment after 30 days because that’s their return window. Seems like a good deal if you like to take pictures and want to make a few bucks. I’ll keep you posted.
