I got these when they were on sale a couple of weeks ago and there’s one thing about them that’s especially worth noting: they do what biscotti are supposed to do, which is soak up the coffee when you dip them, but without completely falling apart. A lot of biscotti don’t do that, so instead of a bite of tasty coffee-soaked pastry you get a thin layer of coffee on a stick of granite, or a cup of coffee with a pile of soggy mush at the bottom.
Dark chocolate would be delightful without the despised mint. Gingerbread is nice but not 48 or 96 of them. Pumpkin spice is OK but not 48 of them. Oh, well. More for other folks.
I had to do a double take when I was setting my timer for the next deal. I was wondering why my second would get to the right number… I not smart sometimes
