These are quite yummy. And if I were still working they would be a definite buy. Being single and retired 96 is a hard pass but if you like biscotti these are good
@dimalake We don’t have a gift option, but you can put a little note in the first address line if the rest can fit. Of course you can also let them know to expect a package from meh!
@sammydog01
Don’t feel bad… I have A LOT of plain old meh food that’s just expired!
Not sure what I hate more, wasting food or throwing wasted food out.
@Lynnerizer@sammydog01 My compost heap gets a lot of discards sometimes; at least it’s not going in the trash. I suspect that squirrels and raccoons sometimes get it, but that’s okay.
@Kyeh@sammydog01
When we were taking care of the MIL (at her house) they used to feed non-expired, perfectly good human food to the night life aka skunks and raccoons! We literally had entire families…
…during the day the birds and squirrels were hand fed Ritz crackers, not even economy brand! SMH
Peppermint ? Pumpkin ? Actually all these flavors I have never seen in a store or bakery in the US or Europe which makes me wonder if they were just a really bad idea and you got talked into wholesale.
Can you imagine, dipping peppermint into your coffee or tea? Ugh!
@craigcush@OnionSoup I used to buy peppermint coffee from a place that discontinued it. It’s hard to find without chocolate too. Maybe I should just pull out my bottle of extract.
@craigcush
There holiday flavors, they only come out for thanksgiving and Christmas and only have a limited supply. The peppermint ones are soooo good.
Sorely tempted, as Nonni’s are mildly good. Two factors preclude a purchase:
The biscotti at an Italian grocery/deli/bakery/coffee shop near me are TDF. Unfortunately about $1 each.
I make biscotti at home, without palm kernel oil, whole milk powder, reduced mineral whey powder, nonfat milk power (sic), and soy lecithin. Not quite TDF, but delicious, healthier, and cost about 20¢ each (excluding my labor).
@MrNews I applaud the effort to make at home and remove the extraneous ingredients! Especially the emulsifier, soy lecithin, which is basically unneeded when cooking fresh at home.
I read the 3-star reviews on Amazon. They tend to be more honest than the “The package arrived! I’m sure it’ll be the best thing ever when i open it!” 5-star reviews and the “The box was dented! This item is total crap!” 1-star reviews that skew the ratings.
@lisagd yes… And no… Amazon one star bad packaging is irrelevant to Meh. But if it’s a consistent problem with Amazon, heed warning to stay away from buying that product from Amazon.
I won’t buy canned drinks from Amazon BECAUSE they always arrived with the packaging damaged… I used to have a really good deal on S&S with them…
but the constant destroyed packages ruined it.
Which in the case of canned drinks meant exploded syrup everywhere. Once, just an accident, twice, was annoying. Three times in a row… Never again.
Actually great price for very tasty product. It’s the Costco Conundrum… 96 is great for a family, but not for a single person, so a “maybe for you, not for me” Meh
I just got the chocolate peppermint ones and they’re delicious! Not too strong on the mint, and not as hard as some biscotti. Still waiting for the gingerbread to arrive.
@Kyeh Good to know about the chocolate mint not being too minty, that’s exactly what I was worried about! Still not sure if I’m going to go for it tonight but at least it’s not about the flavor!

Holy carp! Brad saw the future!!!
@yakkoTDI Brad is a witch. Burn him!
Disclaimer: I don’t actually condone burning witches. Unless they’re called Brad.
it’s like if you took grape nuts and made them into handheld sticks of equally miserable texture
@thechinglish These are better than gravel…errrr…I mean Grape Nuts.
These are quite yummy. And if I were still working they would be a definite buy. Being single and retired 96 is a hard pass but if you like biscotti these are good
@Cerridwyn one a day is all I’ll say!

I hate my new year’s resolution! Staying disciplined pass.
I sent it as a gift to someone, how do they know who it’s from and is there an invoice included? Would have been good if you had a gift option…
@dimalake We don’t have a gift option, but you can put a little note in the first address line if the rest can fit. Of course you can also let them know to expect a package from meh!
@dimalake @troy Biscotti drop?
@dimalake lol… My family (male and female) know if they receive a package from anywhere with “Gertrude” as their middle name its from me.
… Because I’m strange.
Not that that is at all useful to you.
I really need to clean out the pantry, there’s so much way past expired food in there from meh.

@Lynnerizer This time will be different. I just know it.

Can you imagine, dipping peppermint into your coffee or tea? Ugh!
@craigcush I’ve had the gingerbread ones; they’re not bad.
@craigcush peppermint actually is great in coffee. Sometimes in winter I’ll put a drop.of peppermint extract in my coffee.
@craigcush @OnionSoup I used to buy peppermint coffee from a place that discontinued it. It’s hard to find without chocolate too. Maybe I should just pull out my bottle of extract.
@craigcush @sammydog01 yes, all it takes is a single drop or two of extract.
@craigcush
There holiday flavors, they only come out for thanksgiving and Christmas and only have a limited supply. The peppermint ones are soooo good.
Literally just bought 20 of these at my local store for 52 cents per box.
@Estaban111 What magical store is this? Are they the same brand?
@lisagd, Kroger, yes. The peppermint and the gingerbread
@Estaban111 @lisagd were they good?
@lisagd @nonlion yes, very good. My wife preferred the gingerbread, I preferred the peppermint
@Enzo8698 @woundedhearts @68Mom4JS71 Here it is!

@MrNews I made biscotti once. Maybe I’ll make it again someday. But not today.

@lisagd Well that looks like a fun Caribbean cruise.
@lisagd @yakkoTDI That one was a Pacific island adventure.
You have to buy 2@14 each. Doesn’t the buy button say Buy $14. ???
Price inflation?
@richferg $14.50 each
@richferg @troy This is the buy button I’m seeing, are you looking at it posted on a deal site?

I do not see where I can place my order
@ruthduncansbcgl You click on that orange bar on the sales page (see Sammydog01’s image above.)

These Nonni Biscotti are great. I have bought the Pumpkin Spice at the Grocery limited supply, but wanted more. Also trying the Gingerbread.
I just got the chocolate peppermint ones and they’re delicious! Not too strong on the mint, and not as hard as some biscotti. Still waiting for the gingerbread to arrive.
And the gingerbread came today, and it’s also delicious! I might have to get more. It’s still available …
@Kyeh I’m having trouble justifying another 96 cookies. And yet…
@sammydog01 Same here!
@Kyeh Good to know about the chocolate mint not being too minty, that’s exactly what I was worried about! Still not sure if I’m going to go for it tonight but at least it’s not about the flavor!
Ours arrived today and these are a tasty little snack, perfect with coffee (dark peppermint) or tea (gingerbread).
Got the peppermint to be safe and they are good and took a chance on the gingerbread and they are soooo good.
